Bottle at home in London - picked up at the Euston Tap. Pours clear gold, lightly effervescent, with a creamy, white cap. Wonderfully full and dank fruits in the nose, highlighted by orange, mango, papaya and tangerine. Medium sweet flavor with low bitterness, and just truckloads of citrus and tropical fruit-like hops, some watermelon, pineapple, in addition to plenty more orange, papaya, mango and the like. Medium bodied with fine carbonation; could use a bit more carbonation, actually. Moderately resinous and oily to finish, with more vibrant, ripe citrus and tropical fruit hops, slight bubblegum, tangerine, gooey orange juice, faint piney bitterness, honey, understated pale bread. Absolutely, outrageously good. The balance and depth here is awesome, with great intensity of flavour coming out of the hops. If the carbonation was a little bit higher this would be off the charts, but as it is it’s still world-class. ilevator (46) - RUSSIA - JUL 5, 2014

Pours hazy golden/orange with beautiful lasting brilliant-white head. Aroma is bucket loads of dank citrus, mango and some pine. Incredibly juicy, precisely what is called for on a warm summers day. Perfect. More citrus and some tropical fruits and honey. Slightly resinous. pithy orange and grapefruit in the finish. Delicious. Really intense and juicy hop flavor. This is one of Kernel’s best and considering their lofty standards this deserves its place in the pantheon of great IPAs. Garrold (5607) - Sheffield, South Yorkshire, ENGLAND - JUN 15, 2014
Bottle from Sourced Market, St. Pancras. Hazy, orangey amber. Film of sticky, white head. Overripe, verging on inedible, mandarin. Mint rock. Mineral. Grapefruit pith. Orange rind. Taste is mint rock sweet, before a mineral, flinty dryness. Then a bucket full of crunchy, zesty bitterness. Palate is chewy and greasy. Lots of earthiness, by way of contrast. Finish is that mineral thing, followed by a big, long, zesty, oily bitterness. Delicious. graham_murphy (701) - - OCT 27, 2014
Great brewer with two of my favourite hops. Wow that’s fruity - orange, lemon, grapefruit and exotic fruits. Medium body, fairly thick and not too carbonated.

Bottled, 330ml from S.H Jones, Banbury, Oxon. Gold with white head. This hop combination really worked for me, fresh, tangy with orange and grapefruit flavours. Bitter with a grassy edge, lasting on the palate. A pure delight of a beer. mcberko (18979) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 7, 2014
On tap at The Kernel, pours a clear pale golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out cat piss and piney hops. Flavour is extremely well-balanced, with loads of piney hops, citrus and biscuity malt to back. Super dry and really well-balanced. Really excellent stuff. madmitch76 (25568) - , Essex, ENGLAND - JUN 15, 2014

Very hazy gold beer, small pale cream coloured head. Palate is softish and airy with superfine carbonation. Light malt base, soft and slightly creamy sweet. Hops are a heady mix of rich fresh orange, well integrated floralness, passion fruit led tropical fruits and a touch of mango. Finishes light with a touch of hop spice. Easy drinking delicious beer and effortless Kernel quality.

Keg at the bat. Clear gold, tight white head. Hoppy nose, some resin. Taste is lovely balance of citrus and medium resinous hops. Not mental Kernel stuff so definitely thumbs up from me.
