In short: An aromatic archetypal blonde Citra IPA. martjoobolut (4386) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - AUG 7, 2014
How: Tap at Bar ANIMAL, Madrid.
The look: Cloudy yellow-blonde body topped by a persistent large white head.
In long: The hoppy nose of medium-high intensity nose is typical Citra aroma with tropical and exotic fruits along with notes of cat urine which I often get from strong Citra aromas. In mouth the beer has a pillowy texture with plenty of soft bubbles. Taste is all about the Citra hops. There is some pleasant honeyed crackery cereals but they are buried under a mountain of pineapples, papaya, grapefruits, passion fruits, and others. Lots of hops here. Bitterness of medium intensity with some sticky resinous notes. An archetypal solid example of this popular IPA sub-style. Another beer I loved, sometimes I cannot sleep at night just thinking of all the future beers that I will one day drink.
0,33L bottle, ABV 6,9%. Pours hazy golden-amber with off-white head. The head doesn’t stay. Aroma is intense citrus, malt, biscuit notes. Flavor is sweet, citrus, malt, biscuits. Finish is grapefruit bitter. Overall: great ipa, very nicely balanced. angel77 (3366) - oviedo, SPAIN - AUG 2, 2014

Nice, very citrus and a bit sour, but overall really good beer. I founded better on bottle than on tap, but could be just my perception... Skinnyviking (9570) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - JUL 28, 2014
Draught at Mikkeller Bar. Low fluffy and quickly disappearing white head. Hazy light yellow body. Sweet apple pear aroma. Mild and sweet grapefruit pine flavor with a low carbonation and a long finish. JonMoore (2067) - Loughborough, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - JUL 18, 2014
Bottle from Bottledog, London. Hazy gold, with slim white head. Big citra aroma, tropical fruit, grapefruit, orange, pine. Similar in the taste, citrus, pine, good malt backbone. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation. Well balanced IPA. Excellent. Stuu666 (13395) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JUL 14, 2014
Bottle at home. Pours copper, nose is toffee, orange and grapefruit, taste is juicy citrus, dry and bitter. Nocturne (1992) - Cheshire, ENGLAND - JUL 10, 2014
Keg at The Beagle, Chorlton. 7.1%. Hazy pale golden shade with a snowy white cap. Rings of lace soon form. It’s like sipping on a cocktail of tropical flavours. Grapefruit and mango swimming through light caramel malt. Obviously bitter but surprisingly delicate on the palate. Nice to see something subtle that doesn’t want to beat you over the head. Dangerously drinkable on a summer afternoon.
