Deep orange amber..murky..1 finger white head that dissipated
Aroma - resin hops...sweet malts....orange...light red grapefruit....juicy fruits....bit of grass
Taste - resiny hops...soft sweet malts...orange..tangerines.....red grapefruit....bit of grassy hops....great taste...soft and quite juicy...alcohol almost completely hidden.
Palate - soft carb...medium body...tangy but not too astringent...oily texture..bit sticky. Finish as main flavour....lingering orange with sweet malts and some bitter zest
Overall - A really easy drinkable flavourful soft IPA, soft juices and a gentle astringency. Hopheads will probably find this too soft and understated but I like this a lot!
Bottle at home, 22nd February. Nice aroma pine and fruit. Pours too hazy to get a good score on appearance. Taste is good pine and grapefruit, slightly soapy, not bad.

Hazy matt medium orange colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate to heavy hoppy, orange - citrus, light resin, light butter. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, sharp, thin more like his normale pale ales. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
Bottle at BYRON. Pours a rich, pale orange. Resiny aroma, with a massive hop addition - heavy on the Columbus (also shades of pleasant peach washing up liquid). Tastes bitter, a bit like eating lemon peel. Not a restrained beer, but a dignified one - crisp, bitter, intense. harrisoni (19189) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - FEB 5, 2012
Bottle from my good friends at Bottle Shop Canterbury. Cloudy dullish brown copper colour. Lasting thin cream coloured head. Lovely citrus fliral aroma. Some biscuit some floral hop. Maltier than other ipas have been from the same brewery. I quite like the biscuit to be honest. Satsuma and mandarin aroma. More malt and hop balance. Some toffee. Rather tasty and well balanced. Yes alarmingly drinkable Scopey (15475) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - JAN 18, 2012
Bottle at the Kernel Brewery. It pours cloudy orange, with a decent off-white head. The nose is orange citrus, herbal, chlorine and earth. The taste is earth, brown bread, lime, kiwi, orange, leather, herbs and resin, with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Decent, but this hop combination doesn’t do much for me.
