Bottle at home in London. Pours the usual, cloudy orange with a rather sturdy, white foam. Big and beautiful aroma, lots of ripe citrus, wet wood and pine. Medium to big sweet flavor, some woody malts, juicy citrus and other ripe fruits, some toast, resinous pine. Medium to full bodied with fine carbonation. Sticky, sweet finish, lightly warming, with oily hops, bread, pine tar, ripe citrus with rind, papaya and wood. There is a robust, lasting bitterness in the aftertaste that allows all the aforementioned qualities to linger on. This is so damn drinkable I could neck it in one gulp. A real effort to not do so. Very hazy orange - amber beer. Tidy off white head. Dry palate, slightly creamy mouthfeel. Earthy orange with a hint of mango. Bitterish aged lemon. Finishes dry with a brief not of sweet tropical fruits. Nice beer if a tad dry - probably need to let the other bottles clear a bit.
