Bottle (330 ml). Slightly hazy golden/orange with a small/medium mostly lasting white head ans little lacing. Aroma is of citrus, dank hops, light malt and hints of alcohol. Taste is also of citrus, dank hops, good malt backbone and a warming alcohol finish. Medium body. Medium carbonation. Dry finish. Less impressive than other PA/IPA from the Kernel that I have tried yet, mainly because of the alcohol presence. It’s still very tasty though and quite drinkable. chimpgibbon (555) - London, Bedfordshire, ENGLAND - APR 12, 2014
UPDATED: MAY 24, 2014 Bottle at home. 7.1%. Bottled 11 March. Muddy gold with good lively carbonation- more so than many Kernel pales . Big nose, funky vegetal with grapefruit and mandarin. Taste is funky, unctuous mandarin, hint of lemon, little caramel.Long pine hop finish, touch of sweetness with a hint of booze. Classy as ever. Funky as ever. Unstoppable in the single hop IPA stakes. imdownthepub (14554) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - APR 9, 2014
Keg at The Famous Royal Navy Volunteer, Bristol. Clouded gold with white head. This proved to be a very dry and bitter beer with lots of grapefruit character, some herbiness. Lightly roasted malts carry the hops well, there is an oily note though along with the acidity. Good though a little one directional. Niall73 (2432) - Ontario, CANADA - MAR 29, 2014
Bottle. Pours a cloudy yellow, light brown. Fruity, juicy aroma with a little rye bread. Medium body, mild carbonation. Mango, trop fruit, toasty bread. A rushed review, but it's tasty...

Had a bottle of this 1 week past its best before. Quite a dry herbal aroma, some grapefruit, pine, sherbet & orange. Taste again is quite herbal. It’s almost like an Orval IPA if there was such a thing. Quite bitter finish. Grapefruit, lemon peel and herbs. Not great but it was slightly past it’s best. _angst_ (4802) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - JUN 28, 2013
