3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
0.33l bottle from beermerchants.com This one is a light hazy honey colored beer with a small slowly fading light bubbly off-white head. The aroma is light Belgian-yeasty-hoppy and kinda hedge-like. Fresh, with lot’s of yellow citrus tones and also a sweet caramel-malty thing blended in here as well. It’s really citrus-hoppy in flavor. Makes my mouth feel quite dry while drinking it. It’s average carbonated, medium-bodied. I get much of that same Belgian yeast discovered in the aroma with a good hoppy flavor all the way. A bit floral actually towards the finish. Not the best I’ve had from the great brewery, but still a damn solid IPA that paired well with an Asian spicy chicken salad. 28.05.2012
18.4.2014. Light, pale, very hazy. Fresh aroma with yeast, citrus and pepper. Smooth taste with grass, pine and grapefruit. Bitter, carbonated and dry finish with pine. Good but slightly too dry. ElManana (2079) - Scheldewindeke, BELGIUM - DEC 5, 2014

Bottle at the Kernel Brewery on 25 Aug 2012. Poured a hazy, dark golden colour, with a dense white head. Aroma of tropical fruit, lemon zest and caramel. Big citrus hop flavours, with some pine needles and a balanced malty backbone. Finish was resin, dry grain and some esters. zvsn (2092) - ISRAEL - SEP 18, 2014

Bottle Rehills Newcastle. Gorgeous sweet orange marmalade aroma. Quite dry and earthy, very soft and easy on the palate. Lovely prickly aftertaste, great tang in the finish. New superlatives for Kernel beers needed yet again! graham_murphy (678) - - MAY 19, 2014
Definitely my favourite brewer of single hops IPAs. As always, incredibly fresh (helps to live in London) with a smooth malt. A cloudy pour with hops that taste of bitter tangerine and grapefruit. Sad24 (208) - GREAT YARMOUTH, Norfolk, ENGLAND - MAY 16, 2014
From the bottle - lovely strong fragrant rumour, great hoppy, citrusy taste. Cracking...
