September 22, 2015 - at Craft (Clapham) - keg draught. With lagerloather and JerCraigs. Slightly hazy refractive gold with a small diminishing white head. Aroma is pungently catty, catty, catty - plus lemon drops and alcohol - nice! Taste follows, even more pungent - no residual sweetness at all, just acidic bitterness and alcohol - and I love it (8+). Slick, decent carbonation, a little astringent/acidic, finishes long, dry and really coats the tongue. Terrific, but pretty bold.

Bottle from the brewery. Had this a few months in the fridge. Bright rusty orange, cloudy, few bits of sediment floating in it, white head which dissipates in seconds. Nose it lots of bitter citrous rind, orange, grapefruit, pine, marmalade, sweet, sticky, acidic citrousy, slight earthy rain on tarmac. Taste is big acidic citrousy, grapefruit and orange rind, pine, earthy, rain on tarmac, orange fruit, acidic. It’s quite hard on the bitterness and less tropical fruit than I imagined. Maybe because I’ve kept it too long. Minerally chalkiness and flintiness on the finish, with the pine and cirousy bitterness lingering.

Gylden brun klar med fingerhøyt beige skum. Lukter fersken, ananas, sitrusskall og noe fudge. Svært bitter, alkohol, lite sødme. Lang bitter avslutning.

[email protected] Beer Co, Clapham, London - golden Amber pour with white head. Aroma and taste is big prominent sweet tropical fruity hoppy, lashings of tropical fruit, great tangerine and grapefruit hits, nice malty backbone, caramel, leading to a hoppy bitter finish. Immense.

Bottle. Pours hazy golden. White head. Lots of exotic fruity notes. Pineapple, mango and passion fruit. Smooth sweet malty backbone. Orange zest, tangerine, passion fruit in the flavor. Some alcohol in the finish that is the only "flaw" in this awesome brew.

Bottle from Beermerchants.

My Kernel # 200. Pours hazy deep golden with a big creamy off-white head. Strong inviting aroma, here is oranges and grapefruit, passion fruit and piney hops, loaded aroma. Smooth creamy mouthfeel. Taste is weak sweet fruity and spicy, mild soft bitterness, oranges and mint at the lingering finish. Well hidden alcohol, pleasure to drink, a british nectar.

Pours a golden hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma is piney with a ripened fruit sweetness. Taste is big on the hop bitterness, mango, caramel, grassy with a lovely long bitter finish.

Bottle @ home from The Kernel Brewery - Color: hazy dark blond beer with small carbonation and small white foam. Smell: hoppy domination, grassy and small flora nose. Finish as resin. Small yeast notes. Taste: very strong hoppy blast. Very impressive attack! Amazing. Good grassy and floral taste well balanced with the sweet malt. Good body and good equilibrium. Good attenuation with medium resin taste. Aftertaste: good bitterness and resin finish with small grassy notes. You don’t feel the alcohol but take care with this bomb !
