Draft at Brew Pub Le Sec. Barcelona, RBESG 2016. Very hazy golden with a white head. Aroma of tropical fruits, peach, lychee, mango, dank hops. Flavour is light to light moderate sweet and moderate bitter. Light to medium bodied with soft carbonation. [09-07-2016] JackMandarin (390) - Aberdour, SCOTLAND - AUG 28, 2016
Bottle from Bridgend Service Station, Freuchie. Pours with the usual attractive Kernel cloudiness. Peachy amber. Good firm head and great lacing. Aromas of ripe and pungent tropical fruits. Good Mosaic character upfront. Very ripe strawberry. Mango. Creamy Pina Colada. Starburst sweets. Dankness ahoy! I do love the Kernel’s IPA’s.... Taste has a lovely fruity sweetness to start. Quite oily on the palate. Drying, biscuity notes come through. Grapefruit pith. Nicely balance sweetness vs. bitterness here. Never getting too astringent. Medium to light, extremely complimentary carbonation. Great medium-weight mouthfeel. A Hero-mode IPA from a world-class brewery riversideAK (6261) - Shoreline, Washington, USA - AUG 22, 2016

RBESG 2016 in Barcelona. On tap at Le Sec. Golden to orange colour. Hoppy, fruity and pleasant aroma and flavour. BlackHaddock (7346) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - JUL 25, 2016
9th July 2016: on-tap in Brew Pub Le Sec, Barcelona with the RBESG guys. Hazy golden orange pour, not much of a head. Tropical fruits leaning towards the citric side rule both the nose and taste. Still struggling to see why so many people love this breweries beers. MartinT (9880) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - JUL 21, 2016
My Bottom Line:MarcoDL (4974) - NETHERLANDS - JUL 20, 2016
Elderflowers, citrus fruit and mango meld for an intensely fruity profile in an otherwise sadly muddled IPA (lots of floating yeast).
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A sheet of foam covers the murky beige. This is beyond cloudy; there is no semblance of a nice colour in here at all.
-The fruitiness almost evokes rubber at times. Or is it durian?
-Bitter resins appear in the back as well.
-The soft prickling of carbonation makes for a streamlined body.
-This is not my favorite Kernel IPA by far, but it remains a nice hop fix when you are in the mood.
Bottle. Golden pour. Nice aroma of tropical fruit, citrus, subtle malt and pineapple. Fresh taste of grassy hop, tropical fruit, pineapple, subtle pine herb and a bitter finish. Another great kernel ipa. gegwilson (3712) - North Yorkshire, ENGLAND - JUL 10, 2016
Bottl in the Small Bar, Bristol. Hazy amber with a frothy off white head. Big pineapple aroma. The taste is lots of tropical fruit. Pineapple especially. Underlying caramel. Very tasty.
