Buen aspecto, levemente turbia y espuma persistente
En boca balanceada, fruta madura, naranja y un final citrico seco ATulloch (334) - Aberdeenshire, SCOTLAND - MAY 1, 2017
Bottle from Westhill service station. Pours a slightly hazed orange golden with a small white head that fades. Aromas of orange, grapefruit, sweat, cigarettes and pine. Flavour is musty peach, melon and a not very pleasant bitterness. Not the usual kernel. PhillyCraft (8306) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 12, 2017
Bottle with Paul, orange color with large head. Notes Ashy butthole cheese. Not good at all like a lot of the kernels we sampled. Maybe they have lost a step? Also not a fan of vic secret. danlo (3409) - Darlington, Durham, ENGLAND - APR 5, 2017
330ml bottle from Beer Ritz. Hazy orangey amber colour, white foam head leaving lacing and aroma of fruity citrusy hop. Taste is malt caramel with juicy tropical fruits, citrus grapefuit, woody pine and hoppy resiny bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry tangy bitter finish. Nicely drinkable. Nickls (2634) - Alexandria, Virginia, USA - APR 1, 2017
Tap. Hazy marigold. Some slight berry, and light citrus and cracker in the aroma. Flavor is crackery, light and missing the hop punch. Lighter to medium body. I’m starting to feel like Kernel is a one trick pony. Solid, but the proliferation of hop combos are more gimmick thank anything.

Unripe tropical fruits, mango, juicy citrus fruits, pale grain malts. Hazy, pale gold, small, creamy, white head. Light bitter. More unripe fruit, tangerine, orange, light pine, some floral hops, soft carbonation, medium bodied. Somewhat unremarkable IPA, lacks punch, disappointing for a Kernel. Keg at CBC, Covent Garden. March 2017 - 330ml bottle on the Eurostar to Brussels as ’The Kernel India Pale Ale Mosaic Vic Secret’, 6.9%, 2 months since bottling. Pours a hazy golden orange, still with a foamy off-white head which leaves thick lacing. Aroma has some slight mango, cardboard and paper. Body is smooth with soft carbonation. Taste is sugary, powdery, icing sugar, floral hops, grassy, some soapy astringency, chalky finish. A bit soapy and rough. An OK modern AIPA but falls below the standards I expect of Kernel. But went nicely with chocolate raisins. (3.3) tommann (4063) - Dudley, West Midlands, ENGLAND - MAR 19, 2017
330ml bottle. Pours hazy light orange with a large head. Aroma is bready pineapple. Taste has pineapple to start and a bitter bready finish. McNeillR (2336) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - MAR 12, 2017
Pale, stern haze and a nice white cap and rich ringed head. Nose is a decent hunk of bright sweaty melon, soft peachy sweetness and a bit of lime zest. Initial taste is quite floral, stalky pine and back to the citrus buzz. Carbonation isn’t bullish, mouthfeel is crisp enough without being zippy. Finishes quite waxy sweet with peach and blueberry, lingers out quite rubbery bitterness and an odd mineral dryness but ’sall gud.RichTheVillan (8549) - Birmingham, West Midlands, ENGLAND - MAR 11, 2017
