September 20, 2015 - at Craft (Clerkenwell) on Waiting For Garthicus Day. Keg draught. Very hazy orange-gold with a smallish off-white head. DAAAMN that smells great - lush tropical fruit (pineapple, overripe mango, tangerine) with just enough sharp pine to add another dimension; simple framing sweet citrus fruit malt - so amazing. Taste follows, not quite as amazing, but with a sharp bite to the bitterness - great, but not AS great. Chewy, solid carbonation, slightly tart fruity, tingly thirst-quenching restrained bitterness in the linger - one of the best Kernel IPAs I have had - maybe THE best. Bottled. Pours hazy deep golden with an average white head. Aroma of lemon, lime zest, tropical fruit notes and pine. Sweet flavor that ends up dry and bitter. Medium bodied, oily texture and soft carbonation. A very nice IPA. 🌟🌟🌟🌟 tiong (7669) - Espoo, FINLAND - DEC 11, 2015

BBE 18.12.15 - Pours orange with a smooth white head. Aroma of caramely malts, toffee, juicy hops, chewy fruits, hints of sweet pine. Taste is sweetish, malty and caramely with some chewy juicy fruitiness, hints of tropical notes, pine and blood orange. Finish is malty, caramely and sweetish with some fruity hops, blood orange and zesty orange peel notes. Okay, but not the best IPA from Kernel and doesn’t feel very fresh anymore.
Flaske hos Odd Gunnar, rbhd 5.12.15: klar gylden med ok skum. Deilig maltbase og herlig humleprofil - citrus og tropiske frukter - nydelig balanse, munnfylde og ettersmak. Litt mer karamellsødme enn den foregående (Citra Columbus Chinook Centennial)? Samme drikkeglede. Halvtørr avslutning. Raske leker. Christos (5897) - Arnhem, NETHERLANDS - DEC 6, 2015

Orange coloured body, clear, with a small and thin head on top, good retention though.
Citrusy aroma with plenty of hops.
Taste of citrus, light floral notes, pine, with god bitterness, sharper on the finish.
Medium body, nicely carbonated.
Delt 0,33 l flaske på RBHD-treff desember-15. Klar oransjegyllen. Nektar, stikkelsbær, lychee og marmelade. Salt, tørr, fyldig bitter og litt varm. Lang bitter ettersmak. Holmen2 (4132) - NORWAY - DEC 5, 2015
Shared bottle at at Gunnar’s 05.12.15, with OGJ, JMD, KH and ABE. Cloudy golden. Aroma of citrus, flowers and rotten fruits. Fine taste, with citrus, tropical fruits, succade, marmalade and some malt. gunnar (9761) - Sandnes, NORWAY - DEC 5, 2015
Shared bottle at local tasting. Pours clear golden with a small white head. Aroma of light CT hops and pine. Taste is light sweet, bitter oranges and tangerine. Crisp hoppy finish, nice one. JohnCook101 (535) - - NOV 21, 2015
Pours hazy amber with a small off-white head. Aroma of citrus and soft malt. Flavours of tropical fruit, citrus, pine, a little earthy. Really heavy bitter finish that manages not to overwhelm. It appears to mellow as it goes. Another excellent IPA from the Kernel. gegwilson (3806) - North Yorkshire, ENGLAND - NOV 7, 2015
Keg in the Grove, Huddersfield. Pours a hazy lemon colour with a thin white head. Nice tropical aroma of grapefruit mostly. The taste is big and hoppy with light spice and grapefruit. Very tasty and refreshing. Superb as always from the Kernel.
