UPDATED: MAY 24, 2014 Wow! Explosive and complex aroma of tropical fruits such as mango, lemon, orange peel, passion fruit, you name it. Flavour is tropical fruit hops with a nice intense bitterness. Wonderful IPA.

Wonderful ipa with the best aroma. Smells like fresh flowers and fruits. In the flavor delicious grapefruit and some grassy notes. The aftertaste is long and bitter. I would like to see a bit more carbonation. Almost perfect.

Wow, this has to be one of the best IPA’s i have ever drunk. Great aroma, beautiful color and a very nice and thick head. Smell is overwhelmingly hoppy and the taste isn’t far behind. Masterpiece.

Bottle: Served in a Chouffe glass: Medium sized thicker snowy white foamy head on top of a hazy yellow colored beer. The aroma is a subliminal mix of loads of hop fruits; mango, citrus, pine apple, peach, apples, lemon, cake, pie, some herbal hops and yeast with a sweet citrus/vanilla/marzipan edge. The fruit dominates the hell out of the aroma. Absolutely amazing aroma! Flavour has also loads of fruit, peach, pine apple, melon, some citrus and lemon, light apricot, light tangerine, smooth and soft, some fruity herbs, good gentle growing bitterness, hops, light hint of yeast, floral and some herbal tones. This is a full fruity floral bitter beer. It’s difficult to trace malts and such. Aftertaste is fruity, herbal, hay, hoppy, floral and has a light light malty touch. Low carbo, creamy silky mouthfeel, very well balanced more than medium bodied and a light oily texture. Also had a draught sample, either way, they blew me away! Amazing beer, full fruit, crispy, balanced, tasty, etc. The Kernel did it again. Just great!

Keg at the Kernel Brewery. Pale amber, bright cloudy and medium fluffy white head. Nose is amazing. Lychee, grapefruit, lemon , berry fruit, blackberries, red current , amazing fruit in the nose. Taste is hoppy, light biscuit malt, pine, lychee, grapefruit, lots of citrous bitter, little grassiness. Great beer. Full flavoured and light body.

Tap @ de Molen, small sample. Slight hazy yellow to golden color, medium white head. Aroma of lots of tropical fruit, citrus, grapefruit, lychee, hint of grainy malt. Refreshing taste, medium bitter, slight sweetness. All balanced as always by the Kernel. Lovely stuff.
