Almost a half pint at the Craft Beer co Clerkenwell. A: Cloudy, golden, not much of a head, minimal amount of lacing. S: Mango, not too much else but nice. T: On the sweet side, also followed the nose, subtle for a stronger beer, not too boozy. M: Smooth, slightly chewy texture, tiniest hint of a coarse edge from the booze. O: I really liked this one, didn’t over do anything, but was pretty interesting.

hohops (1096) - Kent, ENGLAND - SEP 3, 2015
Bottle, labelled as 7.3%. Appearance- a cloudy burnt amber, with a half-finger white head. Aroma- creamy malt, orange, tangerine, grapefruit, quite a lot of mango, some pineapple juice. Taste- plenty of creamy malt in this one, bitter orange peel, marmalade, grapefruit juice, peach, biscuity malt, bitter hop resins, fairly short creamy finish. Really well-balanced IPA, excellent.

Incredible Aron and clean mouthfeel. Nice citrus nose that delivers on the palate with a nice, smooth finish. One of the best British IPAs ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

330 ml bottle at home, slightly passed BBD. pours hazy orange with a little head. Rich peach and mango nose, some pineapple as well. Impressively well balanced body - exotic bitterness and sweetness are well aligned, evolvong to a semi dry finish. Lovely. Taste is grpefruit mixed with peach. This is very good stuff! Body even tends to a DIPA. Impressive!

Keg at The Hanging Bat. Pours hazy pale. Nose is orange, pineapple, peach, fresh aroma. Taste is tripical ruity, orange, lightly juicy, grapefruit, resin, passionfruit. Excellent aromatic and fresh (when it is..) IPA with nice balance and surprisingly rich in nuances.

GlasgowTAD (1898) - Glasgow, SCOTLAND - AUG 12, 2015
Pours a light copper yellow with a large, frothy head which remains for a while. Aroma is pine, spruce, grass, floral and orange marmalade. Taste is orange marmalade, slight caramel sweetness, pine, hop resin and notes of grass as the beer warms in the glass with a moderate bitterness throughout. Mosaic single-hopped IPAs make me feel like I’m in a forest eating toast and marmalade at 0400 on a Friday after taking a wrong turn on the way home from a heavy night on the tree sap.

330ml bottle @Bir&Fud Bottega (Rome). Pours deep yellow, cloudy, little white head. Aroma is malty, sugary, alcolo, fix grape notes, fruits. Flavour is medium sweet with a bitter end, sugary, a hops juices in the end, unelegant. Medium body, light carbonation. Not in good condition.

Ragnampiza (757) - Rome / Lecce, ITALY - JUN 17, 2015
330 ml bottle from Les Vignerons (Bottled on 29-04-2015). Dark gold, quite hazy, with a big, fluffy and persistent off white head. Glorious aroma, so fresh and aromatic. I can’t describe everything because it’s both complex and mesmerizing: tropical, dank, juicy, citrusy, herbal and piney, so good, really. Slightly bready/biscuity taste wise, but that’s to be expected. Moderate to high resiny bitterness, clean and lingering with just a mild rooty astringency. Quite dry and refreshing, easy to drink like a <4% beer. Blood orange and grapefruit reminiscence in the aftertaste. Average carbonation, medium body, creamy texture. Oh Kernel, I love you so much.
