ElDesmadre (3630) - Mikołów, POLAND - OCT 26, 2016
Bottle. Soft biscuity malt base, lots of citrus with the gooseberry scented lime flavour of Nelson being the strongest. Impeccable balance, as usual.

Garrold (5512) - Sheffield, South Yorkshire, ENGLAND - JAN 29, 2016
Bottle. Sourced Market, St. Pancras. Murky gold. Good Kernel head. Nose has sweet strawberry. Some aromatic herb. Some fruit stone, earthy character. Taste is soft, fruity sweet. Light, earthy bitter. Smooth, chewy mouthfeel to match. Soft, very slightly tangy, bitter finish.

31st December 2015
Light haze on this rich gold beer, tidy cream colour head. Palate is light and slightly soft, reasonable fine carbonation. Light malts bring a modest amount of sweetness. Cooling pine hops, mild skunk and very mild hop spice. Ripe fruits. Light semi dry finish. Nice beer but it;s a bit US style and lacks the usual Kernel fairy dust.

The_Osprey (8682) - Richmond, Greater London, ENGLAND - JAN 1, 2016
330ml bottle at home as ’The Kernel India Pale Ale Nelson Sauvin Chinook Simcoe’, 7.4%, 5 weeks old. Hazy orange, still, foamy white head, dotted lacing. Aroma is damp straw, mango, some soapy suds. Body is medium, smooth, soft carbonation. Taste is resinous, pine, grassy, grape, touch of background soap. Good stuff, as per usual. First beer of 2016 - starting as I mean to go on.

ThirstyBird (2992) - Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - DEC 26, 2015
Bottle from Utobeer in Borough Market, pours a hazy golden color with an off-white head. The smell is toasted malt, citrus, white wine, floral. The taste is big citrus, lightly toasted malt, grapefruit, a bit of white grape character ending dry and a touch biter. Light/medium in body with fine carbonation. Very nice.

Keg at Craft Beer Co, Covent Garden, London. A hazy golden/amber coloured pour with a healthy white head on top. Hoppy, orange, tropical fruit on the nose. Tastes similar, hoppy, orange, tropical fruit and certainly dank. I like it, another good IPA from the Kernel

Scopey (15471) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - DEC 22, 2015
Bottle from Kernel brewery. It pours hazy golden with a decent white head. The is bitter - sweet, dank, grassy, touch of onion, white bread, cracker, light peach and tangerine. The taste is bitter, earthy, grassy, dankness, zesty action, tangerine, grapefruit peel, light herbal, onion and bread withy a lingering dry, bitter finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Pretty nice dank action.

harrisoni (19171) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - DEC 21, 2015
Bottle from Sourced Market St Pancras drunk at home. dank hops 9n aroma no doubt. And all the way through. Just not sure a glassful of dank hops is what I want to drink. Big dank hoppy. Just lacks the normal big fruit. But not hugely bitter. Lots of real hop flowers maybe just too intense hop even for me. Quite exciting though and I drank it in less than 8 minutes. Dank.
