Bottle from Cotteridge Wines, Birmingham. Brightly fruity, with a softened, slightly muted mouthfeel. Improves down the glass. McNeillR (2329) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JUL 20, 2013
Cloudy Sunset gradient, mostly lasting neat bubbly off-white cap. Sumptuous sherberty nose of foil fresh hops, deep scoops of passion fruit and that well expensive Tropicana Sanguinello - no cheap citrus/orange here. Joyous balance of peppery tickle carbonation and oily drained fruit juice tinned syrup tinny edge on the mouthfeel. This cages in a flapping amount of bitterness throughout, chained to a malty pole. The ABV burn peeks out a little at the right moment but there wasn’t much room left on the palate for much more than a Simcoe sweet linger masking the bitter. Would love to have seen the difference in this just two weeks ago! jd543 (428) - SCOTLAND - JUL 19, 2013
Bottle, Cornelius, Edinburgh
Murky honey colour, with a big white frothy head. Aroma of floral, piney, resinous, citrus, sweet hops. Taste is sweet with a long bitter finish. Thick oily texture with light carbonation. Pretty tasty. chimpgibbon (557) - London, Bedfordshire, ENGLAND - JUL 19, 2013
Bottle from Hippo Beers. Hell yeah. A complex, viscous, bittersweet clusterf**k between a grapefruit, the god of hops, and Diamanda Galas. Beaut. foxo82 (924) - Bromsgrove (via Leicester), Worcestershire, ENGLAND - JUL 19, 2013
UPDATED: JUL 23, 2013 Bottle from Cotteridge Wines, Birmingham. Pours a cloudy, slighty dirty shade of orange/brown, with a good sized head. Aroma is big - grapefruit hops, butter, orange, floral. Very strong - don’t need to go too near to take it all in. Initial bitterness in the taste isn’t too overpowering; this has balance. Again, grapefruit dominates but there’s also orange Calpol, strong alcohol, wood, honey. Dry, long bitter finish complements those sweet tastes very well. This is a bit special and a great way to reach 500 ratings.

330ml bottle. Cloudy amber colour with average, creamy, fairly lasting, moderately lacing, off-white head. Resinous and piney hop aroma, citrusy, notes of grapefruit, blood orange, apricot, orange zest, a touch of hay. Taste is resinous and piney bitter hoppy, hints of grapefruit, apricot, mango, a grassy touch of hay, complementing caramel malty basis. Excellently balanced, though not really clean; crafty and precisely scruffy and unsettled. Fin (10840) - Merton, Oxfordshire, England, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - JUL 18, 2013
Bottle from ?Jacks? Westholme Stores, Goring-on-Thames 16.07.13 consumed at home 18.07.13 On first glance there would be little to differentiate this and the Wild Beer Madness IPA (just consumed) colour wise this is also hazy orange with medium sized white head, the nose is more subtle here, clearly it is hoppy but if it is possible to detect sweetness on the nose then this has it, I think I know what I mean. This is soft in mouth, the hops are bitter and sweet, in fact when compared to the Wild beer this is much further down the sweetness spectrum. Curly fruity flavours in the mouth, it is juicy, with a streaky sweetness, there is plenty going on and it is great to compare this with yhe Wild beer this is is much more of a slow burner with a late finish, overall it just about draws level but you would never have imagined this early on. Glorious. Spent my evening with a bunch of toss monkeys. The highlight? A prick telling 20 odd jokes in a 15 minute presentation and not a laugh could be heard apart from his own. Almost enjoyed that as much I am enjoying this beer. Yet another marvellous Kernel creation. Yum. downender (8774) - Bristol, Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - JUL 16, 2013
Bottle bought at the brewery. Hazy amber in colour, with a tight, off-white head. Massive hoppy, aroma of tangerines, gooseberries, white grapes and biscuity malts. Juicy, leafy mouth feel, with more citrus and tropical fruits, a hint of green herbs and gentle, almost creamy malts. Finish was dryish with a hint of pine. What a hop combination. A truly world class beer! olio (10472) - Tampere, FINLAND - JUL 16, 2013
33 cl bottle. Bottled on 04.06.2013. BBE 04.10.2013.
Pours hazy orange color with a small head. Aroma of sweet fresh fruits, floral hops, hay and caramel malts. Flavor of citric fruits, apricot, some resiny hops, hay and caramel malts. Bitter fruity palate, a bit oily even. Nice.
