330ml bottle from Hippo Beers. Hazy amber brown, reasonable head. Hoppy aroma. Biscuit mango hop flavour. Very fizzy on palate, biscuit flavour. A great IPA.

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines; light yellow pour with off white head, big tropical fruit juice aroma, first sip has mandarin continues into zesty lemon perfectly complimented by a malty backbone, this is glorious.

Bottle bought at the brewery. Hazy amber in colour, with a tight, off-white head. Massive hoppy, aroma of tangerines, gooseberries, white grapes and biscuity malts. Juicy, leafy mouth feel, with more citrus and tropical fruits, a hint of green herbs and gentle, almost creamy malts. Finish was dryish with a hint of pine. What a hop combination. A truly world class beer!

Big gooseberry and kiwi fruit aroma. Very earthy and dry but with a long lingering peaches and cream finish. Smooth with late orange notes and just another mighty Kernel beer

Bottle. Nice creamy head with excellent duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are rich flowers, apricot, citrus, pine, hops and malt. Wonderful.

Bottle. White fluffy head with deep tangerine orange beneath. Aroma had wonderful depth but was subdued in comparison with other Kernel beers I have tried. Pineapple, resin, orange peel and floral notes from NS dominate. Decent amount of carbonation gives a bouncy palate with sweet fruit again prominent. The bitterness which ends is beautifully balanced by the citrus and malt. Great balanced beer.

Bottle from Kris Wines, London. Not a looker! Very murky muddy brown. Aroma is sweet orange, mango, peach, pine. Taste is big juicy tropical fruit, pine, sweet caramel, slight bitterness in the finish. Very fresh tasting.

Bottled on 04/06/12. Hazy orange colour with a thin white head. Big sweet pineapple aroma alongside tropical fruits and citrus. Fairly light and foamy though mildly carbonated. It’s fresh, sweet, bitter and dry with a crisp tropical fruity, grapefruit flavour. Good.

Bottle in the garden, 5th July 2013. A lovely IPA, very balanced. Poured cloudy, aroma is very hop pleasant, taste is a hop sensation, fresh, tropical fruit, not too bitter, not too sweet. Lovely beer

Mmm. Tasty, lemonadey nose. Flavour follows. Can’t be bothered with too analytical a rating but basically this is one of the worlds best brewers doing one of the great styles with three of the best hops, and it measures up. Rocking.
