330ml bottle from Beermerchants.com. Rich orange amber colour, reasonable head. Sharp fruity hop aroma. Flowery resin fruiy hop flavour. Palme (4812) - Bergen, NORWAY - APR 10, 2012
0.33l bottle from beermerchants.com This one starts of as a light blurry dark-golden - almost bronze colored beer before, but it eventually turns out as a heavy cloudy light-brown one. It has a nice big off-white head and some big yeast-colored sediments at the bottom of the glass. The aroma is grassy hoppy, it has tones of both hedge, yeast, malts, caramel and perhaps even a faint little cat piss all the way in the back. The flavor starts off a bit malt-sweet, but suddenly the strong and powerful hops kicks in. Fruity and tropical peaches with grassy hedge, and also even a little tone of cortex in the finish. Not 100% fresh this bottle, but still this tasted really nice. 22.03.2012 Alphadelic (2249) - Portland, Oregon, USA - FEB 16, 2012
Alright so it looks as though this got all the yeast mixed in on my car journey. It’s super cloudy and the colour of a baby poop with heaps of white foam. The aroma is huge and fresh plenty of citrus and tropical fruit aromas it really bursts out of the bottle. Zingy and thick in the mouth with a huge bitterness and hint of acetone. It’s almost tart with bitterness though the bisciutty malt keeps it in check. It’s got a lot of wine-like complexity yet remains reasonably drinkable with its peppery finish. I could have a couple but that might be it. A really interesting hop character. planky84 (3345) - Lee, Greater London, ENGLAND - JAN 23, 2012
Bottle from Mr Lawrence Wine Merchants, Brockley. Cloudy gold pour with a white head. Citrus, caramel, ginger and peach aroma. Bitter fruit attack in the flavour, quite spicy. Hoppy, bitter finish. Nice. RichardW (1813) - Carlisle, Cumbria, ENGLAND - JAN 14, 2012
bottle from beermerchants. Always loved the Kernel’s beers, this tastes and smells lovely, but the amount of sediment was ridiculous, even with the most careful of pours. Spoilt the beer with loads of grit getting in the way and giving the murkiest beer I have ever had. Lovely cream and fruit aroma and flavour, but such a shame to be fairly ruined.

Clear medium to dark yellow orange colour with a large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, toasted - caramel, moderate to heavy hoppy, orange, orange - citrus, licorice notes. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, dry. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
Bottle from Beermerchants.com. Pours cloudy golden with a huge creamy white head. Lots of Nelson in the nose, passion fruit and some tropical fruit mix. Taste is moderate sweet grapes, light juicy bitterness, smooth palate, peach and grapefruit. Tasteful and moreish.

Bottle from Kernel Brewery, Bermondsey, London, Dec 2011 consumed at home 08.01.12 Pours warm gold with a good clarity with only the merest of haze, looks great. Probably shouldn’t have rated this after zesting a lemon but I’m trying hard to get something else and yet I do still seem to get mainly lemon though there is a sort of undercurrent of wet carpet, not sure where that comes from but I do get that. Taste is not as strident and authoritative as some of the IPA’s from Kernel, bit of wishy washy clementines and other citrus probably lemon again. I like this but the three hops here not really working so well for me, Loz also felt not as good as some of the Kernel beers A6 A5 T7 P3 Ov13 3.4 oh6gdx (26487) - Vasa, FINLAND - DEC 30, 2011

Hazy yellow colour, small beige head. Aroma is floral, berryish, mild rosehip and some fruity notes. Flavour is fruity, floral, mild berries and some sweet malts. Nicely balanced.
Cloudy golden color with a subdued head by Kernel standards. The nose is slightly musty and acidic, lemon being the main feature. The taste is lightly bitter and a bit peppery, tangy citrus on the finish. The body’s medium, the carbonation a bit lighter than other Kernel IPAs I’ve tried. Overall, a fine beer, but not among the elite of the Kernel’s output.
