Tap at irreale. cloudy neon yellow, offwhite lace. Tropical hop aroma. Medium body, oily resiny mouthfeel, reasonably light on the palate though. Strong tropical hops, a bit pine, citrus finish. Exteme but not bad at all. JohnRMurdoch (4986) - Glasgow, SCOTLAND - JAN 5, 2013
330ml bottle from Nina’s Mini Market. Yellow orange colour, reasonable head, lot of sediment. Pine hop resin aroma. Fruity tar hop flavour. Grapefruit hop aftertaste. Another good IPA from The Kernel. Benjii (3049) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - AUG 5, 2012
In bottle. Pours a golden colour with a fair white head. Aroma of pine, pineapple, passion fruit, caramel and alcohol. Similar flavours with alcohol fairly prominent again. Nicely bitter with a great dry finish. Mild carbonation and a foamy mouth-feel. Palme (4812) - Bergen, NORWAY - APR 10, 2012
0.33l bottle from beermerchants.com This one pours a blurry golden/copper body with a nice big snowy white bubbly head and some big fat slurpy sediment in the bottom of the bottle. The aroma is really hoppy with some soft tones of cat piss, stingy floral hedge, peachy fruits and some nice sweet caramel. The flavor has a nice warming bitterness all the way, it’s light fruity as well with traces of passion fruit, and it just tastes like a really perfectly balanced IPA. A oily texture with a average carbonation level. It’s leaving the mouth slightly dryish, peppery and fruity. Solid! 10.03.2012

Bottle at Nate’s Birthday at The Kernel, London. Pours cloudy orange with a foamy, white head. Big and juicy citrus nose. Medium sweet flavor with some lightly toasted malts, dry bread, dry and pithy citrus, lightly zesty citrus. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Dry finish with orange citrus bitterness and dry malts. Very good. harrisoni (19024) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - JAN 13, 2012
Bottle from The Bottle Shop, Canterbury. Thanks Andrew for getting these beers. Hazy gold orange colour with lasting off white head. Shed loads of hops on the aroma. Lots of tropical fruits. Like sticking your nose in a bowl of fresh tropical fruits. Lovely mouthfeel. Wow that is stunning. Wow that is just such a step up from anything I’ve had this evening. hops on finish are stunning too. Long peppery hop finish. Some earthyness towards the finish. But this is amazing. What a blend of hops. So smooth. No harshness at all even with all those big hops. I love it. The Kernel is just an amazing brewery. gunnar (9333) - Sandnes, NORWAY - JAN 12, 2012
Bottle from Beermerchants.com. Slow gusher, evacuates slowly from the bottle with a hazy golden body underneath a moderate sized creamy white head. Aroma of passion fruit and grapefruit. Taste is weak bitter first, solid malty body, noticeable Nelson, light burning peppery end. Good.

Bottle at home from Stirchley Wines, Birmingham. Typical Kernel IPA hazy orange looks with a well proportioned lingering off-white head. Divine nose of the tropics - bright and fruity and oh so enticing. Juicy citrus aplenty in the fruit basket laden flavour, hand in hand with some great resinous hoppage. Heavy duty dry bitter finish. A winning hop combo and another great Kernel IPA Nocturne (1992) - Cheshire, ENGLAND - JAN 3, 2012
330ml bottle. Pours a hazy orange with minimal head. Huge aroma of tropical fruits, melon, grapefruit etc. They all make their presence felt in a taste brimming with tropical tones. Nice mouthfeel with a little bit of stickiness. A very well done IPA from a brewery I hope to sample many more beers from.
