Hazy amber beer, pale cream coloured head. Light semi dry palate. A little creamy malt - dry. Mild minerals. Sweetish orangey hop with some tangerine. Subtle tropical fruits - pink grapefruit, mango and peach. Dry finish. Very nice IPA - not too aggressive but with plenty of hop flavour.3.8

2 Pints of Keg at the Bull. Very light haze on this gold beer, tidy white head. Palate is light, with a perfect amount of mild dryness and a great fine minerally crispness. The thin pale malts do what they should and provide light sweetness to underpin the amazing fruity hops. Vibrant spicy tangerine hops with great streaks of orange and grapefruit (yellow and pink). Touches of citric peel and lemon and a whisper of peach on the backend. Hop spice tantalises the back of the tongue. Stunningly good, a joy of a fruity IPA. Lacks the skunk and pine of many great US IPAs and even some of Kernel’s own. This is just such a clean, fruity and perfectly pitched IPA. Wonderfull.
bottle at home ... golden amber ... thin white head ... soft sweet orange nose ... juicy orange fruit ... light hop ... nice enough but again not qute right Leighton (21231) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - SEP 9, 2011
Bottle at home in London. Pours a rich, semi-clear gold with a small, white head. Aroma has some touchy citrus and mild pee, along with grass and very light pine. Flavor is just great. Medium sweet with some toasty malts, light honey, lots of tangy citrus, some grass, salty pee. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Very clean finish, faint warmth, slightly sticky, short lasting bitterness, mild white sugar, more tangy citrus. Yeah, pretty tangy and juicy. I can’t believe how easy this beer is to drink. Top notch.
