really liked this i got the bottle from the brewery bottled on 16/09/14 a really nice beer that has a nice hop kick but is very easy to drink even though the beer is strong you don’t know you are drinking a strong one Garrold (5442) - Sheffield, South Yorkshire, ENGLAND - JUN 16, 2014
Bottle from the brewery. 7.0%. Hazy, gold colour. Thin, sticky, bright white head. Super fresh, Simcoe hop aroma to this. Like sticking your nose into a freshly opened bag full. Sweet, biscuit, grainy maltiness by way of back up, but with a lightly dank fustiness, that brings everything together. Taste is sweet and bitter in equal proportion. Light, herby, basil like oiliness on the palate. Finish is long, herbal, spicy bitterness. The beans. DanielBrown (4527) - Birmingham (via Leicester), West Midlands, ENGLAND - JUL 2, 2011
7.5% bottle from Euston Tap. Best smelling beer ever. End of. Golden complexion, with teeny head. Flavour is not quite as heady and delicious as the scent, but is still great: mango, pineapple, sherbet orange and a slightly burnt finish. Doesn’t taste the strength and is lovely. mcberko (18434) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - APR 27, 2013
330mL bottle, pours a cloudy pale orange with a small white head. Aroma of pungent floral hops, loads of pine and biscuity malts. Flavour brings out pungent floral and piney hops, more floral notes, resin and just enough dry malt to back. Extremely flavourful, full of pine, resin and floral notes. Amazing stuff! harrisoni (19024) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - JUN 9, 2013
6.7% version May 2013 from the brewery. Pours clear orange gold with a slight haze, needed a good swirl in my Duvel glass to get rid of some of the carbonation to release all the aromas and flavours. I really love Simcoe. And the aroma on this is pure Simcoe. Piney cat pee. Lovely. Really good in mouth too. Just delicious. So drinkable. Good bitterness on finish and that pure Simcoe pine sharp grapefruit finish. Gorgeous.

Bottle at the Rake. Clear copper thin beige head. Decent simcoe aroma. Even a bit of funk. Not sure. Bit hard in the mouth. You do get that with American style ipa. Very hard candy. Tastes its strength too. Its cool, if a tad hard 3.3/5. Re-rate at Bottle Shop Canterbury. 7.4% abv. Gorgeous simcoe aroma. Some creamy vanilla in the mouth. Light bitterness on the finish. Touch of sweet alcohol.
Unclear golden. White head. Strong aroma of grape fruit, pine shoots and new-mooved lawn. Lots of bitter grapefruit in taste, with superb aftertaste. Well balanced with moderate malt. ilevator (10) - RUSSIA - JUL 12, 2014

Thick hazy cloud of orange and a thick head. Heavy vegetal aromas with some strong burnt sugar tang. Rich and very boozy with a long grassy dryness which is super bitter and tangy. This is pretty special actually, very boozy and warming a fabulous beer, much as I imagine an older IPA might taste.

Bottle. Lots of sediments in the bottom. Pours hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma of tropical fruits, pineapple and pine. Very fresh mouthfeel, hops jumping all over my palate, creating small taste sensations of flowers and tropical fruits, very refreshing, the bitterness from the simcoe really stands out, nothing extreme, just refreshing and very easy drinkability. Another good one from Kernel.

Bottle from Mr Lawrence Wine Merchants, Brockley. Clear golden-orange pour with a white head. Peach, pear, kiwi fruit aromas. Fruit filled nose. Summer fruit and citrus taste infusion. Crisp and sharp. Fruity, hoppy finish. Good stuff.
