Bottles theatre of wine and the old fountain pub. Another superb IPA from the Kernel.. easily on par with myriad Nogs and Mikkeller costing twice as much. Big hoppy mouth.. floral, grapefruit, resins and slight caramel. Nicely bittered and *despite* the 7.5% ABV the huge flavours overide it. Well done for reclaiming Stella! a fine hop indeed. Bottle-7.4 per cent. Cloudy yellow with a yellow aroma. Full of cirus and hoppy flavours that hit you upon opening. Quite a thick palate upon stunningly pleasant. Why call it Stella a name associated with blandness and uniformity? zacgillbanks (5180) - Tyne & Wear, ENGLAND - FEB 18, 2012
Bottle from Coppers in Newcastle - 7.4% ABV. A hazy amber coloured beer with a strong orange marmalade flavour, tropical fruit notes and a bitter hoppy finish. Superb! berkshirejohn (6501) - Bracknell, Berkshire, ENGLAND - FEB 17, 2012
33cl bottle from Westholme Stores, Goring - ABV 6.2% Poured a slightly hazy golden amber, leaving a deep sediment in the bottle, and with a ring of white head; rich piney aroma with some tropical fruit; thick and oily in the mouth with an explosion of hops and honeyed fruits; well-balanced with along dry resinous finish. Good stuff.

Bottle @ Brauhaus, Edinburgh. Hoppy aroma. Cloudy amber colour, good head. Strong hoppy flavour, bitter aftertaste. A good IPA but very similar to other Kernel Beers. dantheman278 (1361) - SCOTLAND - JAN 1, 2012
