Bottle. Pours hazy dark golden with white head. Flavor is herbal hoppy. . Quite yeasty as well. Kernel can do better. pivnizub (10619) - Bochum, Porúří, GERMANY - JAN 13, 2013
Bottle: Golden, cloudy, small off-white persistent layer, not too dry fruity-hoppy nose ( exotic & piney nose,no grapefruits! ), even some malty influences detectable; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, quite dry and medium bodied; solid dry hoppy finish (exotic fruits, what else) with malt and yeast underneath. Very good beer, but the question remains, if it is really necessary to brew of every existing hop-clone a beer of its own right… Frenger (367) - Derby, Alabama, ENGLAND - JAN 12, 2013
Bottle from realale.com. A little old so has probably lost some of it’s hop aroma, but not it’s taste. Very good indeed, very hoppy and very fresh. Enjoyable. gunnar (9096) - Sandnes, NORWAY - MAY 26, 2012
Bottle from Beermerchants.com.Pours clear golden with a big frothy off-white head. Aroma of herbal hops. Taste is sweet malty, marmelade and honey, light oily mouthfeel, high carbonated, strange hoppy bitternes, almost astringent, with some herbal qualities, still not amongst my favourits from Kernel.

355ml Bottle from De Bierkoning, on the train to Roadburn. Hazy orange colour, big off white head. Aroma is sweet, tropical fruits, very malty, caramel, oranges, not very fresh it seems. Flavour is sweet, malty, bread, oranges and tropical fruits, mild citrus bitter finish. Medium to fullbodied. My least favourite Kernel IPA so far.

355mL from De Bierkonig in Amsterdam. Pours a clear bright orange. Medium sized, creamy buttermilk head. Sweeter cheese nose and orange candies. Old hop nose. Some honey and mild toilet deodorizer. Taste is tannic and bland with some honey sweetness but overwhelming tea character. Tea leaves abound. Some noticeable vanilla tinged alcohol. Not so bad. Good webby lacing for once. Drier finish. Quite balanced. No
stickiness and no astringency though borderline tea tannic. Tea with honey character. joergen (28148) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - FEB 11, 2012

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of madmitch76. Pours a cloudy deep golden with an off-white head. Malty nose, a little oxidized. Medium body, sweet fruit and caramel with a heavy if somewhat unrefined hoppiness. Not really the best hop mixture. 090212
