Bottle. Pours a pleasant orange with an initially appealing head that disappears quickly. Nice nose. Citrus fruit, namely orange. Nice hops on the taste. A lot of yeast in the bottle. Another fair effort from Kernel. BenH (3439) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - OCT 9, 2011
Bottle. Orange with not much white head. Weak aroma, slight orange, slight metallic, bit pissy. Taste is ok, not big and punchy, more subtle hop flavour, mostly orange, tastes like fanta with a yeasty caramel malt finish, light bitterness. Needs more going on, not very bitter.
One day I’ll be blown away by a kernel beer, I’m sure if it. madmitch76 (24807) - , Essex, ENGLAND - OCT 8, 2011

Hazy orange amber beer, little white head. Crispish palate, a little dry. A little lacto creamy malt. Mild minerals. Hops are subtly flavoured. Mild peachy orange with a whisper of lemon. Finishes dry. OVerall a sweetish IPA with nicely balanced subtle fruits. Very drinkable.
[330ml bottle, The Euston Tap, London] Hazy orange, thin head, almost totally flat. Sticky, zesty, big orange fruit flavour - tastes like Fanta. Big dry hop finish but the whole thing is extremely orangey. Some pineapple on the aftertaste too. Gets pretty rich after a while but would be great on a hot day dantheman278 (1361) - SCOTLAND - OCT 2, 2011
Bottle from Great Grog. Colour is "Kernel IPA" with a big white head that almost vanishes. Nose is big pineapple, mango, yummy tropical fruits. Similar flavours, caramel notes, but some real big citrus fruit too. Short but pronounced hop bitter linger. Not too sweet, not too bitter, good stuff.

330ml bottle. Pours a slightly hazy orange with a small head. Aroma is mango, a little dirt and alcohol warmth. Taste has some oily malt to start. Pineapple finish, which is a little short. BoBoChamp (5755) - Gent, BELGIUM - SEP 25, 2011
33cl, at 7.3%Vol, new exclusive English brew Anno 2011, from The Bottle Shop Canterbury, complex bitter brew, spicy and slightly fruity/sweet, heavy, yet balanced, cloudy, rocky head, good brew JorisPPattyn (10003) - Ursel, BELGIUM - SEP 18, 2011
Small, dense yellowish head over hazy orange-ochre beer. Exotic fruit, American hops giving rosewater, and a sweetish smell. Sweet-hoppy, exotic fruit, finish has some (harsher) resin, pine. Very slick, oily, medium to well-bodied. Another good Kernel try. God, are they trying London on the Colorado, rather than on the Theems? Grand merci à Jean H.! Bottle from the Kernel Brewery. It pours cloudy orange, with a thick, foamy white head. The nose is pine, resin, black pepper, light mango and dried banana. The taste is pine, resin, earth, leather, pepper, light smoke, orange pith and alcohol warmth, with a long peppery finish. Medium to full body, fine carbonation and foamy mouth-feel. A tasty, peppery IPA. harrisoni (18578) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - SEP 6, 2011
33cl bottle bought at the brewery and drunk at home awaiting my curry and England vs Wales. Hazy deep orange gold colour with lasting white head. Hops are nettley lemony and some resin. Yes quite nettley in the mouth. Creamy in mouth. Bitter nettle on the finish. Fruits are leomn and lime and a touch of orange but quite subtle orange. Cracked black pepper hot nettle finish. Decent enough, but not as good as the CCA I had before it. Bitter nettle on finish.
