330ml bottle @ Christmas tasting on 28 December 2010. To be honest, I’m not sure whether this is re-interpretation made at Kernel or simply the stuff made at Redemption put in a Kernel bottle. The consensus here seems to be that it is a separate beer so I’ll go with that. Very dark brown. Dry and quite roasty with a fairly sharp bitterness. Certainly seemed different (and less enjoyable) to the cask version I tried. Decent enough though.

Botella. Hazy dark brown colour. Sweetish roasty malty chocolate aroma. Good mouthfeel. Flavour of roasty malt, chocolate, bit dark fruit and a pleasant medium bitterness.

So this is a seperate beer is it? Really? Ok I’ll bite. I thought it was a lot less fruity than the version I had on tap at BrewWharf. Also the malt was a noticebly more sourish. This was an okay beer but not as nice as the other one. I put the difference down to tap vs bottle. Silly me! Must dash - off to rate a beer called ’splitting hairs’ - Cheers! :)

Medium body, lively carbonation, hard roast and licorice with a massive malt astringency. Nice sessionable Porter. 150211 yespr (45906) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - FEB 15, 2011
