Powerfully built, richly textured and immediately showy: this is a beer to headline any festival of flavour. A real talking point at any reputable session, The Kernel have made sure that you don’t walk away from this brew with ambivalence. Perhaps the cloudiness, vibrant head and strong citrus notes are too much for some. But give the drink more than a first glance, and you will be in no doubt that this is a statement ale of serious intent. Hold on to your petticoats and strap yourself in for a journey of discovery. Hoppy drinking! MrTipple (4780) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - DEC 4, 2014
Aroma: light floral, grain malts, light citrus fruits. Appearance: hazy, pale gold, small, creamy, white head. Taste: light bitter. Palate: bitters intensify, floral hops, citrus again. Overall: nice APA, well balanced. Pint at brewery, Bermondsey. teorn88 (7670) - Rimini, ITALY - NOV 8, 2014
Keg at the brewery tap room, London. It pours a slightly hazy pale yellow color with a medium white head. Aroma is lightly hoppy, with notes of bread, grass, grains, citrus. Taste is mildly bitter with more citrus, bread, grapefruit, grass. Medium bodied with good carbonation. Overall, one of the weakest hop profiles from Kernel ever for me. tommann (3706) - Dudley, West Midlands, ENGLAND - NOV 1, 2014

Bottle. Pours hazy orange with a small white head. The aroma is mildly malty with some biscuit and straw notes, with fruitiness that describes underripe peach and oranges. The flavour is sweeter citrus fruits with orange and some grassy notes. A bitter and dry finish. The palate is light with low carbonation, almost as if this came from cask. tiong (7188) - Espoo, FINLAND - OCT 19, 2014

Bottled 07.08.14 - Pours orange with a smooth head. Aroma of floral hops, fruits, grass, citrus and crisp malts. Taste is floral, fruity and herbal with some grassy citrusy notes. Finish is musty, floral and grassy with some stingy citrusy notes. Okay.
Bottle from Beermerchants, bottled 7.8.14. Pours light hazy golden with a big creamy white head. Lovely aroma at once the cap goes off, tropical fruits and lemon, even stronger as it pours into the glass. Taste is light sweet malty, with strong citrussy and grapefruity hops, crisp and fresh, high carbonated with a light bitter/sweet lingering finish. Very good.

Bottle at home split with Sarah, picked up at the brewery. Aroma is nice melon, peach tropical fruits, with a soft lemon citrus edge. Light hazed golden yellow coloured pour with a lasting loose white head. Light grass on the nose as well. Flavour is clean base malt, soft lemon citrus, peach and apricot hop fruits. Firm clean citrus / grassy hop bitterness. Very clean uber drinkable beer. Palate is medium bodied, moderate carb, touch of chalk. Top notch kernel.
