Medium aroma of malts, caramel, orange, pine, bread, hops and citrus.
Turbid/opaque golden/amber beer with heavy yeast and with a slight/medium white head.
Starts medium sweet with malts, caramel, orange and pine; ends slightly bitter and dry with bread, hops and citrus.
This beer ia rather intense, complex and balanced. Love these two hops and they create a perfect flavour together. Could have been more intense, especially the aroma. Great beer, especially for its abv.

Keg at Craft Beer Co, Covent Garden, London. A hazy golden/orange coloured pour with a medium white head on top. Hoppy, citrus, tropical fruit aroma. Tastes hoppy, citrus, tropical fruit, peach, mango, slight sweetness. Classic Kernel and probably the best Kernel APA that I’ve had to date, IPA being my preferred style. 500ml bottle from the brewery. Pours a hazy yellow to amber with a white head and mild carbonation, just like all their other pale ale!
Aroma is pineapple, apple, straw, light caramel, bread, thyme, white pepper, marmelade and lime. Taste has nice bitterness, just about enough body if verging on thin and some sweetness.
Delivers just as expected, very decent pale ale showcasing two of my favourite hops! The_Osprey (7890) - Richmond, Greater London, ENGLAND - APR 13, 2016
500ml bottle as ’The Kernel Pale Ale Citra Centennial’, 5.3%, 5 weeks since bottling. Hazy dirty orange, a few bubbles, small white cap of foam, light lacing. Aroma is fairly light and airy, some grapefruit, straw and stone fruit. Body is light, tingly carbonation, a little foamy. Taste is pine-forward, straw, lychee, background cotton, light peppery spice in the finish. Another clean and drinkable Kernel beer. Muted by their standards, but I guess not every beer has to be a fruity hop bomb. It has a nice balance to it. It’s the sort of beer that seems more special the more you drink. teorn88 (7671) - Rimini, ITALY - APR 6, 2016
50cl bottle from the brewery, London. It pours a cloudy orange color with a small white head. Aroma is rich of grapefruit, tangerine, peaches, light mango and pine cones. Taste is lightly fruity sweet upfront with more citric notes of tangerine lemon grapefruit, grass pine cones and biscuit. Medium bodied with good carbonation. Overall, top hop juice
