Bottle at Mes Tasting. Cloudy, golden-brown pour with a slight film. Pine and grapefruit in the nose with rich malts. Quite sweet and quite bitter. Orange, grapefruit, heavy resin, rich bread, light honey and caramel. Medium to full in body with average carbonation and a bit oily. Warming finish, sticky with hops, some honey and brown sugar. Excellent stuff. Dedollewaitor (16384) - Odense, DENMARK - MAR 30, 2011

500 ml bottle conditioned, from Selfridge’s food store, London. ABV is 5%. Cloudy amber colour, large white head. Nice aroma and flavour of piney, resinous and grapefruity American hops throughout. Medium sweet, good bitterness in the finish. Quite enjoyable. gunnar (9696) - Sandnes, NORWAY - MAR 23, 2011
Bottle from Beermerchants.com. Pours hazy deep golden with a 1 inch spongy off-white head. Aroma of piney and fruity hops. Taste is good malty, moderate sweet with a good bitterness to balance it off. More fruity and fresh hops, lively carbonation lets the hops shine thru the malty sweetness. Here is lemons and oranges, pinecones together with good caramel malts, some herbal notes as well. Lingering bitter aftertaste with some spice and pepper at the finish. Lovely beer.

Very hazy orange amber beer, tiny white head. Typical (and good) Kernel crisp and dry palate. Lovely fresh orange and tangerine bitterness. A little marmalade. Turns a little sweeter before the dry crisp finish. Simple stuff but done very well indeed.
Bottle kindly shared by my beer pal, Ole Anders. Murky yellow with an inch thock, off-white, creamy head leaving excellent lacing. Floral, herbal nose with caramel. Sweet, malty, bitter and light acidic. Medium to full body. Ends bitter woth a dry tongue. saxo (19522) - Højbjerg, Aarhus, DENMARK - DEC 22, 2011

33cl bottle. Pours hazy orange with lasting white head; lots of lacing. Aroma is grapefruit, orange peel, herbs, touch of peach. Taste has plenty of waxy orange and pithy grapefruit; notes of pine resin and some earthy/herb character too. Some sweet malt notes, but very much in the back seat; medium/dry finish. Pithy & resinous aftertaste with plenty of residual bitterness. A good showcase of two powerful hops.
