jjsint (2826) - Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, ENGLAND - SEP 7, 2016
Bottle from Cambridge Wine Merchants, Kings Parade. 5.1%. Mellow orange-gold with a tiny bit of visible carbonation. Not much head. Pineapple, tangerine and a generous hint of resin on the nose. A slightly sweet start turns to a mild waxy bitter. Bitterness on the finish as well as a good hit of booze, tastes stronger than it is. Thin to medium body. Carbonation is gentle but provides a lift. Great stuff.

Taste is medium sweet caramel malt, hard candy orange, pine and floral, tropical fruits, some citrus, moderate hoppy aroma, medium- bitterness, dryish finish. Medium bodied, soft carbonation.
