Pours a cloudy orange color with a bigger, froth, white head. Smells of floral, crisp citrus with a natural sweetness to it, reminding also of juicy oranges. Offers a nice juicy note, once the beer warms up, which allows a mellow toffee sweetness to cut through. Has a perfectly smooth, yet lively mouthfeel, complimenting to the crispness of the lemon, while its body provides a nice depth and remains easily drinkable. Tastes of pleasantly soft and well nuanced citrus, balanced by grass and white bread dough. Begins dry, while slowly evolving a lemonade sweetness, in which the malts provide a subtle toffee flavor. Finishes fairly soft, aqueous, but in perfect balance. The plan of releasing yet another citra ipa goes, in this, beyond the idea of providing a basic portfolio of a brewery specializing in hoppy beers. The citrus is showcased in an intriguing way, callaborating with the subtle used malts, developing a very convincing balance.

33 cL Bottle at home. Pours almost clear yellow with a medium white head. Typical citra aroma with yellow fruits and citrus goodness, hops, bit of grass. Taste is pretty crisp with yellow fruits, citrus, grass, tropical fruits and an over medium bitter finish. Medium body and carbo. Been a while since Ive had a Kernel pale ale, but they still know how to make a crisp and tasty one.
