330mL bottle, pours a cloudy opaque golden orange with a small white head. Nose brings out herbal hops, some pot-like notes, and pine. Flavour is along the same lines, with herbal, pot-like hops and lots of pine. Very nice combination of hops here. The palate is piney and creamy, with a good balance. Very nice.

Draught at La Fine Mousse Restaurant, 4/24/15
Very lightly hazed, pale golden liquid has light carbonation and a small but neatly retained white head.
Exquisitely clean nose shows very soft honeyed malts backing leafy, highly aromatic, fresh hops that provide light tangerine, white grapefruit and a touch of juicy melon. The colombus dont produce any resin, which is impressive, while the amarillo are neither too dry nor give any impression of astringency or dirtiness. The mosaic may contribute a little bit of nectarine and overall it’s just soft and understated. No alcohol or any sort of flaw. The hops are obviously fresh and yet there’s none of the problems that bother a lot of light pale ales with tons of hops in them (blandness, dirtiness, resin, etc...).
Flavor abounds in soft, flavorful hop notes. Nothing here attacks or challenges the palate. Light melon, tangerine and just a snap of bitterness on the end. Malts are soft, well-attenuated and provide just a dollop of honey. Clean to almost the point of sterile, but with delicious hop flavors like that and none of the heavy acidity or astringency, one can’t help but be a huge fan. It seems like mostly an amarillo driven beer, with some mosaic notes of nectarine, leafiness and light earthiness. While there is a touch of pine/grapefruit from the colombus, it’s not aggressive or dominant. Delicious, glad to finally try this brewery. Could drink this stuff all day and night.

McNeillR (2329) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - MAY 1, 2015
Murky sandy golden, no read head over a soft ring but decent lacing throughout. Nose is hay and grass all over, wheeze of mangoey flesh and seedy passion fruit but ultimately tense dried citrus. Initial taste is focused, creamy mandarin and pink grapefruit sweetness. Tosses of briney mandarin, earthy and sweet in soft measures. Straightforward soft carbonation and lean sweet sparkle to the mouthfeel. Finishes grassy and lean bitter linger. Passes by very smoothly all told.

Keg, Black Swan, Leeds
