Theydon_Bois (19189) - Hazlemere, the lower Xhitlerns, Buckinghamshire, - FEB 1, 2013
Bottle at home, from the brewery, 01/02/13. Pours a lightly hazed yellow/orange with a thin off white head that retains as edge bubbles and a swirl of film. Nose carries mandarin, passion fruit, a little piss, aspartamic qualities, grass. Taste comprises hops, light piney bite, orange, grapefruit, grass, mineral tones backing it up. Medium bodied, slightly prickly carbonation more than the norm for a Kernel beer, dryish finish with some bitterness. Drinkable stuff but not one of Kernels best Pales for me.

dexcansino (575) - Andalucía, SPAIN - MAR 16, 2013
UPDATED: MAR 17, 2013 Cerveza dorada con algo de sedimento. Por su sabor intenso me recuerda más bien a una ipa. Olor a lúpulo joven. Sabor amargo, muy lupulado. Cuerpo medio, algo graso con gas vivo en la boca.

Benzai (15446) - Oirschot, THE NETHERLANDS, NETHERLANDS - FEB 28, 2013
Bottle shared with Joes and Dutchdrebus. Hazy yellow color, small white head. Smell lightly malts, fruitiness, citrus, hops and onion somehow. Taste malts, hops, lightly soapy, lightly citrus, bitter. Hmm the ingredients seem to be good but somehow I don’t really like it. Decentbody and ccarbonation.

Bottle @ joes thx to benzai. Hazy light yellow colour with a small white head. Smells hops, fresh, slightly onion. Tastes quite soapy, hops, fresh, lemongrass.. But mostly soapy. Soft carbo, thin to medium body.

jmgreenuk (9306) - Kuala Lumpur, MALAYSIA - FEB 18, 2013
Bottle from Cotteridge Wines, Birmingham. Poured a slightly hazy amber with a big white frothy head. The aroma is floral and grassy, leading to a similar flavour with lots of dry hoppy spicy bitterness in the palate. Another winner from The Kernel.

Dorada mate, turbia. Espuma blanca, esponjosa que se mantiene hasta el final. Aromas cítricos con presencia del lúpulo. Bastante cuerpo, oleosa. En boca un poco picante, cítrica y resinosa. Regusto seco.

On tap at The Rake, Borough, so certainly not retired! Pale, slightly cloudy IPA with a good ’tat tat tat’ bitterness and strong fruity hoppy aroma. Very good.

Fra kran på bryggeriet 3 Nov 12. Aprikosfarget. OK skum som varer en stund. Setter seg i nivåmerker på glasset. Uklar. God fruktig aroma. Druer. God syrlig fruktsmak. Blir veldig syrlig etter hvert - men OK.
