500ml bottle from The Kernel Brewery. Golden amber colour, good head. Hop & tropical fruit aroma. Dry tar & hop flavour. Fruity aftertaste. Another winner from The Kernel. essexcalf (172) - Essex, ENGLAND - AUG 24, 2012
Bottle. Golden. White, persisting head. Light-medium carbonation. Aroma - In-your-face fruity hops, that are quite tropical, with sweet melon & a bit of banana, and some spiciness, but also some drier, citrus notes underneath it - quite a nice balance. Taste - Good fruity flavours matching the aromas; quite a delicate balance of lightly sweet tropical fruits and some drier grapefruit & spicy flavours. Lightly sweet beginning, slowly transitioning to a nice, crisp, light bitterness at the end.
Quite a heavy body for a pale, bit frothy in the mouth.
Well-balanced, tasty, fruity pale, with an interesting mix of hop aroma/flavours. asheft (3062) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 21, 2012
[bottle at Danish Invasion tasting with cgarviuk and fonefan--thanks, fellas!]
US hops right up front in the aroma with a little cat piss and salt. Hazy appearance under a white cover. Dry, assertive, almost woody hops bitterness with strawberry and pine notes. Light body, moderate carbonation, moderately bitter finish. fonefan (48648) - VestJylland, DENMARK - JUN 1, 2012

Clear medium orange yellow colour with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, toasted, caramel, moderate to heavy hoppy, citrus, fruity, grapefruit. Flavour is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
50cl bottle from the Brewery. It pours a clear golden orange colour with a medium soapy white head. Aroma is grassy, flowery and resiny. Taste is moderately bitter with grass, violets and pine needles. Mouthfeel is medium with good carbonation. Overall, a very nice and hoppy pale ale.

spruce, barnyard, caramel, orange, hazy, frothy, white foam, light sweetness, medium bitterness, medium body, creamy, soft carbonation. Nice bitterness but could be a bit more pronounced flavour wise oh6gdx (26482) - Vasa, FINLAND - MAY 6, 2012
Bottled. Hazy golden colour, mediumsized white head. Aroma is fruity, floral, wooden, caramelly and some slight herbal notes. Flavour is quite the same, not the interesting. dantheman278 (1361) - SCOTLAND - APR 22, 2012
Bottle at cgarvieuk’s - thanks Craig! Slightly hazy yellow/gold, moderate white head. Big fresh hop nose, slightly catty, big pineapple and grapefruit flavours too. Nice dry, juicy front, big grapefruit, some citrus, resinous pine also. Slightly herbal on a long bitter finish. Standard Kernel pale ale (though that’s not a bad thing!). cgarvieuk (24166) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - APR 22, 2012

Bottle at craig’s. Aroma is quite sharp citrus hops, grapefruit, slight musty pissyness. Similar taste, plenty grapefruit, little resinous hops. Fairly bitter finish. Not bad for a kernel, quite similar to his otter beers.
