Bottle 500ml. @ [ Edinburgh Danish Invasion Tasting) by cgarvieuk - Edinburgh ].
Clear medium orange yellow colour with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, toasted, caramel, moderate to heavy hoppy, citrus, fruity, grapefruit. Flavour is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
Bottled. Hazy golden colour, mediumsized white head. Aroma is fruity, floral, wooden, caramelly and some slight herbal notes. Flavour is quite the same, not the interesting. madmitch76 (24807) - , Essex, ENGLAND - APR 15, 2012

Hazy amber beer. Decent off white head. Dry semi crisp palate. Bitter pithy orange and grapefruit with dry starfruit. and a hint of something tropical. Sweeter orange comes through before the dry finish. Bitter linger. Plenty of hop flavour. A tad dry.

Bottle at home in London with Lyoli. Pours hazy, amber gold with a soft, white foam head. Gorgeous, classic Kernel nose, lots of dry citrus, toasty grass, some birch. Light sweet flavor with citrus and lime bitterness, some earth and grass, mild toast and toasted sugar. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Semi-dry finish, some wood, grass, citrus rind, yeasty dryness, crispy straw, lightly toasted bread. Nice lasting bitterness. Great APA.

Keg at the Kernel Brewery. It pours hazy orange, with a thick white head. The nose is tangy orange citrus, leaf, cheddar, sweaty sock, and earth. The taste is mango, orange, kumquat, pine, resinous hops, leaf, citrus pith and earth, with a long bitter finish. Medium body, moderate carbonation and good balance. Highly drinkable. Delicious. Bottle at the brewery, Bermondsey, London 21.04.12 Pours a mid hazy gold edging towards amber with slim white head. Citrussy in mouth with some bittersweet orange, actually it is more sweet, with just a late bitter citrussy and sort of pithy edge to it. Bit dry towards the end, but a damn good beer, I had this sandwiched between two Simcoe Nelson Sauvin IPA’s and it worked very well.
