500ml bottle from my good friends at The Bottle Shop in Canterbury. Mid to pale gold colour, some haze, lasting off white head. Tropical fruit aroma. Mango off the scale. Some earthy pine as well. Yep, well thatís a good beer. Yep, not sure where you go after that. Iíve been doing some homebrew and being pretty pleased with some of the APAs Iíve produced, and then you drink this and you go, well, thatís pretty good. Itís just tropical fruit in a glass with some grapefruit and a little earthyness. Soft, easy drinking and completely wonderful. Good fruit and hop twang on the finish. Sublime. dantheman278 (1361) - SCOTLAND - JUL 22, 2012
Bottle at home. Slightly dark orange amber, thick frothy white head. Amazing nose - rich mango puree, mint, slight orange pith, pine needles. More tropical fruit sweetness as it opens up. Satsuma, pineapple. Yum. Dry and juicy on the palate, again mango, earthy pine, green pepper, soft lemon. Intensely dry resinous linger, almost IPA-ish. Nice thick mouthfeel, perfect carbonation as usual. Rich, hoppy and delicious. berkshirejohn (6451) - Bracknell, Berkshire, ENGLAND - JUN 28, 2012
50cl bottle from the Beer Boutique, Putney. Hazy amber with a loose white head, some light carbonation; and a terrific aroma of mangos; in the mouth itís absolutely packed with piney hops and thick tropical fruits; the hops arenít too overpowering though and the whole thing has a soft well-balanced feeling. My only disappointment is that I can never get a clean pour from Kernel beers, they are always cloudy. gunnar (9019) - Sandnes, NORWAY - JUL 29, 2012
Bottle from Beermerchants.com. Pours almost clear golden with a small white head. Aroma of citrussy and flowery hops.Lovely aroma. Taste is crisp and fresh, tangerine, lemon and grapefruit, moderate/heavy dry. Clean and fresh mouthfeel. Lingering fruity and dry aftertaste. Great beer for hot summer days.

500ml bottle. Dull orange slicked with white. Musky, resinous fresh hop aroma awash with good things; Jelly Tots, nettles, tea and mandarin amongst them. Typically soupy, aromatic, conditioned Kernel wafting with new world exoticism; hop notes conjuring Jelly Tots again; breakfast juice, lemon pith, soap and flowers. Stewed tea, nut husk malt and grapefruit linger with a flick of ash. Fine brew.

Hazy orange beer, pale cream coloured head. Palate is light and dry with mild carbonation. Nice fruits - bitter orange and pith, traces of tangerine, grapefruit and lemon. Finishes crisp and dry with a little orange peel bitterness in the aftertaste. Nice beer if a tad dry. Effortlessly drinkable.
Bottle from Mr Lawrence Wine Merchants, Brockley. Pale gold pour with a white head. Grassy hop nose with a hint of moss and citrus. Heavy grapefruit zing in the flavour with a hint of lime. Citrus burst in the finish. Tasty. jackl (8029) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - JUN 16, 2012
Keg @ the brewery. Deep light amber color with a small eggshell white head. Hazy. The nose is mango, pineapple, lilt soda sweetness. Light rhubarb strawberry pie. Taste is chalky dried pineapple, seagrass and salt. Quite floral and hoppy but bone dry on the long bitter finish. A bit of cheesy funk. Medium body, soft carbonation. Keg at the brewery, London. Pours just a slightly hazy yellow-gold with a fine, white foam head. Dry grass on the nose with some lemon rind. Light to medium sweet flavor with toasty and dry grass, straw and citrus rind. A touch more abrasive than the typical Kernel APA, and much drier. There are some toasted biscuit malts in here. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Grassy, lightly resinous finish, quite bitter, moderately sweet with pine needles, dry straw and pale malts. Good stuff overall. Pretty dry. I would be interested to try the bottled version to see how it compares. leaparsons (10504) - Wigston, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - JUL 8, 2012
Bottle. Hazy gold with a white foam. Aromas are floral pine with grapefruit and pineapple. Woody with hints of mint and nettle. Fresh cut grass with base toast malts. Flavours are sweet mixed tropical fruit with green pine and bitter grapefruit. Toasted malts with a long dry finish. Very good.
