Keg at The Hop Inn, Newcastle-Under-Lyme. A hazy golden colour with a thin white head. Aroma of pineapple, mango, orange, lemon, some grain, slight straw and subtle grassy hops.
Taste of orange, mango, some lemon, slight straw and subtle grassy hops. Medium bodied and a slight oily texture. A dry, citrus hop bitterness in the finish. A dry, citrus and grassy hop led pale ale with subtle straw balance. Not as good as other Kernel offerings but bitter and hoppy.

Leighton (22555) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAR 6, 2017
Bottle at home in London - picked up at the brewery. Pours mostly cleAr honey-gold with a frothy, white head. The nose has lightly dried citrus rind, pine needles. Light sweet flavour with ample citrus pith, mild rindy bitterness, drying flinty minerality, mellow bitterness. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Decent finish, more citrus pith, tangerine rind, dried pine needles, more cleansing flinty minerals. Not bad overall, though a far cry from Kernel’s usual vibrantly juicy wonderfullness,

26th February 2017
Very hazy gold beer, tidy cream colour head. Palate is smooth and semi dry, decent fine minerally carbonation. Smooth malts, a little sweetish cream. Hops are smooth but bitterish orange. Floral pine and floral bitterness. Traces of tangerine and lemon. Light grapefruit bitterness on the finish. Nice.
