Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up at the brewery. Pours somewhat hazy gold with a frothy, pure white head. The nose holds glorious pithy citrus fruits, some tangerine and grapefruit. Light sweet flavour with moderate grassy bitterness, more citrus, tangerine and pith, some piney accents, understated pale bread. Light to medium bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Well balanced finish, with some tangerine, a little white grape, dry pale bread, some rindy bitterness, a little oily pine. Excellent.

Bottle from Cork & Cask. Hazy bronze body with tidy flecks of sediment floating beneath a medium white head. Low carbonation. Good lacing. Aroma of white sugar, overripe pear and orange. Flavour of tangy orange peel and honey. Medium body with an oily texture. Soft fizz. Very tangy. Not the most easy drinking Pale Ale I’ve had.

Very hazy gold beer, good pale cream colour head. Palate is light, semi dry and has a fine minerally crispness. Thin malts, modestly sweet. Trace of bitterish hop skunk. Modest hop spice. Orange peel bitterness. Underneath there is a complex array of fruits, spicy peach and apricot, little tangerine and a splash of lemon. Light dry bitterish finish. Interesting, tasty and drinkable.

jjsint (3735) - Leicester, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - SEP 24, 2017
Keg at Tweedies Bar, Grasmere. Light gold and hazy with a spotty white head. Enticing aroma of melon, gooseberry, pineapple. Pleasant bittersweet taste with a bit of malt balancing the fruity hop notes. Lemon drops and kiwi in the aftertaste. Body is a touch watery but otherwise it ends well with gentle carbonation on the mouth. A nice little pale ale.
