Bottle at home in London - sourced direct from the brewery. Pours clear gold, bright, with a creamy, white head. Nice aroma, all plump and juicy citrus, with undertones of pale bread and subtle pine needles. Light sweet flavour with juicy tangerine, melon, peach, pear, soft piney bitterness, supportive pale bread. Light bodied with luscious, massaging carbonation. Smooth finish, with a nice orange juice vibe, along with more tangerine, mellow rindy and piney bitterness, pale bready sugars, some pear. Outstanding. Vintage Kernel.

Bottle from Beer Gonzo Webshop, Earlsdon, Coventry consumed at End of the Road Festival, Larmer Tree Gardens, Dorset/Wilts border, Friday 1st September 2017 Nice hazy golden glow in this sunlight. A touch of biscuit and mineral with a little mint also. Sweet and hoppy but hoppiness is not as strident as many Kernel offerings, that is not to diminish this in any way as it is an excellent beer, really like it. Fairly clear golden, loose but lasting white head. Nose is firm tangerine, light grapefruit zest and a fluffy lemon meringue buzz later. Initial taste is quote gripping, more of that tangerine rush and a soft stone fruit sweetness. Carbonation is silky, gritty bitter rasp to the palate. Finishes lean, a slave to the initial tangerine quickening and finishes a long dry almost wheat punch. Minty too. A real nice ride. leaparsons (10712) - Wigston, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - AUG 25, 2017

Almost clear gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is smooth and has reasonable fine carbonation. Soft silky malts, mildly sweet. Hops bring a smooth and light pine and very mild tropical fruits. Trace of candy fruits. Mild floral orange. Light smooth finish. Quite a laid back APA from Kernel compared to their other recent offerings but there is plenty going on.
Bottle at home picked up from the brewery. A mostly clear golden orange coloured pour with a loose white head. Aroma is nice soft delicate hops, melon, white grape little pine as well, soft bready malts. Flavour is composed of soft bready base malts, with a hint of caramel, light floral hop, little earthy grape, jasmine tea. Palate is semi sweet, moderate carbonation . Good well balanced interesting pale ale.
