Bottle from Sourced Market, St Pancras Station. It pours lightly hazy pale gold with a medium white head. The nose is fresh, fragrant, tangerine, bergamot, bread, marmalade and a hint of melon. The taste is bitter, bread, orange peel, tropical fruits, papaya, mango, melon, grapefruit rind, guava, straw and a touch of grass with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. So very well rounded and utterly drinkable. Good hop burp was produced. Tasty stuff.

Hazy gold beer, small bubbly white head. Palate is airy, dry and has a fine minerally crispness. Soft dry pale malts, a little sweet. Ripe orange and mild marmalade. Dry hop spice. Whisper of parma violets and most unusually for Kernel, some mild esters. Sweetish floral things before a light, dry and hop spicy finish. Pithy peel linger. Good if not spectacular by Kernel’s very high standards.
