Hazy golden amber, lightly carbonated with very low foam. Fresh clean grassy smell. Full of Chinook specialness. Three very distinct sensations; balanced earthy citrus taste, then a oddly spring onion hit followed by a bitterness that bites your cheeks. Love this stuff. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UPDATED: AUG 18, 2013 Bottle from Craft Beer Co. Pours bright orange with a small, dense white head. Nice lacing. Mmmmm smells pretty tasty. Citrus bomb with some heavy handed mango notes. Hint of grapefruit in there to. Taste is heavy grapefruit and citric hoppage with light underlying tropical fruit notes. Very sweet fruit driven but not overly sweet or cloying. Light bitterness and super clean and sessionable. My god this is a fucking good beer

UPDATED: MAR 5, 2017 1) 06/03/13. Where to begin? 500ml bottle, dregs and all. Fully clouded orange amber with a fine lacy head. Stunning aroma showcasing the full beauty of The Hop; guava, papaya, dried flowers, spliff, blackcurrant, pissy rabbit fur. Wonderful stewed flavour bristling with celery, fine-haired greenery, tropical explosions, seawater hints, blackcurrant and guava jams, crackers and cashew, licked soap, roses. Magnificent. 2) April 2016. Hop soup pour filmy with bits in the house style. Cask feel with a loose tenacious white foam. Extraordinary fresh hop aroma with a sweetly choking waft of spliff, lime zest, papaya, tomato vine and blackcurrant. A sniffer of the highest calibre. Exquisite stewed green and lurid tropical hop like blended nettle, kumquat, lime zest and dragon fruit shampoo. Mellow low condition. That grounding soggy biscuit balance. What a beer. 939418.

Almost clear gold beer, good off white head. Nose of hop skunk and hop fruit. Palate is light and a little soft, semi dry. Strewth! These Mosaic hops are fantastic! Light grass and skunk gives way to gorgeous hop fruits - passion fruit, pineapple and lime. Touches of pine and other generic tropical fruits. Minor grass and floral notes. Slightly skunky finish, semi dry. A great hop showcased by a world class brewer - whats not to like?

Bottle, Craft, London. Orangey gold pour with a decent white head. Superb hop-laden nose with ganja and tropical fruit notes aplenty. Flavour was juicy fruit and a little malt with the hops singing like a celestial choir. Bitterness, Bob on. Moreish, oh yeah. Absolute stunner. Could drink this til the fecken cows come home.

Bottle from Great Grog. Pours a beautiful golden amber. White, fluffy head that fades slowly. Aroma is properly tropical. Starbursts! Somewhere between an orange one and a red one. Um Bongo. Good helping of citrus. Slightly thin mouthfeel. Light carbonation. Taste has serious length. More tastes of the tropics! With pine and a slight soapiness which is not unpleasant. Perfect balance of sweet and bitter. Top notch stuff from the Kernel as always! Cant wait to try their Mosaic IPA!

500ml bottle Rehills Newcastle. I love the jammy gooseberry smell of Mosaic, its a monster of a hop. Its a Kernel beer, its going to score high, it tastes and smells superb. Enough said.

Bottled. 04/04/13. A giner coloured beer with a white head and lace. Wow this is a good hop. Really fruity and orangey in aroma and flavour. Great balancing pale malts give body but no silly sweetness. Delicious aroma it really is. Top top stuff. Superbly brewed.
