[ As The Kernel Pale Ale Motueka + ].
Light unclear medium orange yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate to heavy hoppy, grass, citrus, grapefruit, dusty hops, light pine. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, tropical fruit, grass, fruit. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft.
BBE was a couple of weeks ago, thus almost 5 months old bottle. A hazy, light yellow beer with a weak and white head. The nose is fruitfull and tropical, citrusfruits, some pine needles and chalk. Taste is nicely bitter, pine needles, citrusfruits. Almost medium bodied, quite fresh. BBE is gone and it can be noticed, not so sophisticated, anymore. Anyway, nicely bitter and tropical beer. cgarvieuk (24156) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - APR 18, 2014

Bottle (330 ml). Bottled on 18-12-2013. Best before 18-04-2014. So almost 4 months old and only 3 days before the BB date. Hazy golden/orange with a small spotty white head and some lacing. Aroma in mainly earthy with citrus, tropical fruits and light malt/caramel. Taste is also mostly earthy with citrus, tropical fruits, a good malt backbone and light bitterness in the finish. Medium body. Moderate carbonation. Slightly dry finish. A bit sticky. I can imagine that it was probably way more citrusy when fresh. Now, it’s a decent Pale Ale with the earhy hops being a tad too much presents. The finish is also a little too sticky. But an average/not completely fresh The Kernel Pale Ale is still better than most Pale Ale available. Lowenbrau (4124) - Asturias, SPAIN - MAR 27, 2014

In short: a citrusy pale ale.
Pours clear golden with frothy white head.Moderate head retention, some lacing. Citrusy, earthy aromas. Light body, average carbonation, some crispy texture. Taste is fruity, tropical, citrusy, mild bitterness. Body seems to be lighter than it really is, if this makes any sense. Enjoyable.
Keg at the Bishops Arms, Jarntorgets, Goteborg, 23/03/14.
Very lightly hazed pale golden blonde with a moderate off white covering that retains well.
Nose is juicy hops, melon, mango, pithy citrics, toasty, jammy berry fruit, apricot jam.
Taste comprises orange pith, melon, mango, light mineral notes, juicy hop notes.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close.

Tap at the Bishops Arms, Jarntorget, Gothenburg. Poured a hazy straw with a thin white head. The aroma is grassy hop with some light creamy malty smoothness. The flavour is medium bitter with a grassy nettle light spice pepper palate and a short bitter finish. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. A super smooth pale ale from beginning to end! rlgk (18847) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - MAR 23, 2014

Color oro pálido tupido con espuma blanca. Aromas afrutados, melocotón y cítricos. En boca es algo aguada pero tiene un rico amargor resinoso final. Buena. undercurrent25 (2130) - Barnton, Cheshire, ENGLAND - MAR 8, 2014
