Bottle @ Home. The pour’s deep amber orange with a small head. The nose is floral hops, some spicy peppery grass and mild tropical fruit salad. Some citrus. The taste is light bitter dried grass, some piss. Quite acerbic, funky and floral. Decent yeastiness, chalky. Despite this, it’s a real pleasure to drink. Overall, nice work (as usual). Bottle from Cotteridge Wines; great aroma of grass & hope when I popped the cap off, pours a hazy yellow amber. Tastes of citrus with a high level of bitterness quite dry nice. blankboy (7714) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 2, 2013
Bottle [500ml] shared with HogTownHarry, GregClow, jerc & mabel -- c/o HogTownHarry. Nov. 2. Pours a hazy gold with a small frothy white head. Aroma of very catty hops along with some fruit and malt in the back. Flavour is hoppy and fruity along with an average bitter finish. Average bodied. Just good, I don’t love the hops used. teorn88 (7682) - Rimini, ITALY - AUG 30, 2012
50cl bottle at the brewery. It pours a mostly clear golden colour with a small white head. Short lived foam. Aroma is bitter hops and grass. Taste is moderately bitter with grapefruit, grass and citrus. Light bodied with nice carbonation. Crispy and refreshing. Maybe a bit heavy on hops for an APA. November 2, 2012 - with blankboy, gregclow, jercraigs & mabel - my 500ml bottle purchased from the brewery in late August. Very clear light gold with a smallish creamy/fizzy off-white head. Aroma is acidic, some alcohol, very light slightly sweet fresh grain, some resin and vague pineapple - it stood up well. Taste follows - acidic and oily, a little funky-sour, smelled better - thickish, decent carbonation, long low-level bitter finish, quite coating - interesting fruit character and a different bitterness, I am not that familiar with this hop. Good. mike_77 (6734) - Breda, NETHERLANDS - OCT 23, 2012
Really strong ’green’ hoppy aroma. Flavour has a sharp grapefruit taste. Then a strong bitter, hoppy finish. Very light and easy to drink. AshtonMcCobb (6683) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - AUG 22, 2012
50cl bottle. Pours golden and with a slight haze. There’s a nicely proportioned lacy head. The nose has strangely parma violets and lemon sherbet. The taste has more lemon sherbet, a bit of yoghurt yeastiness and then a lemon pith finish. The palate has a medium body, a tangy texture in the mid-section and a tangy dry finish. Overall, a good beer, which seems to be different between nose and palate. BoBoChamp (5755) - Gent, BELGIUM - SEP 1, 2012
