Old Fountain, London. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is sweet fruits,l parfume, tropical fruits and mild earthyness. Flavour is fruity, toffeeish, floral, grassy and it also has a nice bitterness in the finish.
Bottle at home. Slightly murky orange amber, thin bubbly white head. Lovely big fruit bowl NZ hop nose, mango, candied orange, definite floral vinous Motueka thing. Nice sweet juicy punchy fruit front, transitions to a flinty chalky dusty dryness. Soft floral bitter finish. A bit flat, seems to be a problem with a lot of beers from the new brewery. But still tasty. Pudding (262) - Birmingham, West Midlands, ENGLAND - OCT 6, 2012
Probably my favourite of the lighter Kernel beers I’ve tried. Less assertively hopped than the others. Quite a gentle drink with a lemon taste. HogTownHarry (7012) - Toronto (Harbourfront), Ontario, CANADA - JUN 5, 2013
November 2, 2012 - with blankboy, gregclow, jercraigs & mabel - my 500ml bottle purchased from the brewery in late August. Very clear light gold with a smallish creamy/fizzy off-white head. Aroma is acidic, some alcohol, very light slightly sweet fresh grain, some resin and vague pineapple - it stood up well. Taste follows - acidic and oily, a little funky-sour, smelled better - thickish, decent carbonation, long low-level bitter finish, quite coating - interesting fruit character and a different bitterness, I am not that familiar with this hop. Good. fonefan (49554) - VestJylland, DENMARK - JAN 30, 2013

Draught @ Old Fountain, 3 Baldwin Street, London, Greater London, England EC1V 9NU.
Unclear medium orange yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, pale malt, moderate to heavy hoppy, citrus, orange - citrus, tropical fruit. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and moderate to heavy bitter with a long duration, fruity, tropical fruity hops, citrus, soapy hops. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
50cl bottle at the brewery. It pours a mostly clear golden colour with a small white head. Short lived foam. Aroma is bitter hops and grass. Taste is moderately bitter with grapefruit, grass and citrus. Light bodied with nice carbonation. Crispy and refreshing. Maybe a bit heavy on hops for an APA. 50cl bottle. Pours golden and with a slight haze. There’s a nicely proportioned lacy head. The nose has strangely parma violets and lemon sherbet. The taste has more lemon sherbet, a bit of yoghurt yeastiness and then a lemon pith finish. The palate has a medium body, a tangy texture in the mid-section and a tangy dry finish. Overall, a good beer, which seems to be different between nose and palate. BoBoChamp (5755) - Gent, BELGIUM - SEP 1, 2012
50cl, new exclusive English brew Anno 2012, from The Bottle Shop Canterbury, complex bitter brew, malty/bitter and slightly fruity/floral, easy to drink, balanced, hazy, small head, nice brew Scopey (14990) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - SEP 14, 2012
Bottle from Beer Boutique, Putney. It pours clear golden, with a medium white head. The nose is orange, mango, sweet tangerine, tinned peach, icing sugar and metal, with a lingering herbal note (sage?). The taste is creamy, zesty citrus, tangerine, tinned peach, apricot, peppery spice, light herbal and some soapiness, with a very dry, citric finish. A solid APA, but the motueka doesn’t do anything for me.... jercraigs (10591) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 5, 2013
2012-11-02. Crisp bright orange body, small off-white head. 3+ Modest hoppy aroma, lightly fruity quality that I can’t place. 7+ Quite interesting, light riesling like petrol touches, Flavour has green leafy hop character, odd bitterness to it, fruit hops. Okay, but a bit strange. 6+ Average bodied palate. Really interesting hop character but I am not sure I care for it. Bottle shared by HogTownHarry
