Bottle shared at CBC Clerkenwell - London. Many thanks to Bruce for the local freshness. Pours hazy, deep gold with a light foam head. Yeah, typically delicious. Plenty of dry, pithy citrus, some rindy bitterness, delicate pale malt sugars. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Bright. Clean, slightly flinty finish with further citrus rind, orange, grapefruit. Lovely. harrisoni (18578) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - JUL 9, 2013
500ml bottle from Sourced Market, St Pancras. Hazy orange gold colour lasting thick ivory coloured head. Tropical fruit and grapefruit aroma. Good mouthfeel. I means it’s a hell of a smack in the face of flavour. I think since they moved to the new brewery they’ve got the body of the Pale Ales better. Good firmness. I mean just so much flavour on the swallow. Light bitterness yet it’s there on the finish and it builds. Big sweet tropical fruits. Amazing really. Just I don’t know anywhere that does beer this good. mR_fr0g (12067) - Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - JUL 13, 2013
Keg at crate. Juicy fruit hop aroma. Slight chives. Slight haze golden persistent white head lace. Chalky carbonation. Dry finish clean bitterness. Every good indeed. DruncanVeasey (8226) - NUNEATON, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - AUG 18, 2013
500ml from Beer Gonzo, Coventry. Brassy gold- clouded to taste- with a slick collar and quintessential cask-like Kernel condition. Huge flowers, fur, Rubicon on Feta, primarily Jelly Tot aroma. Hop soup, blackcurrant Jelly Tot, soapy flowers and anise hop flavour structured from beneath with vast husk, biscuit and honey. Splendid but no better (or more complex) than the brace of single hop Mallinsons bottles I just saw off.

Bottle at Kernel. It pours clear golden amber with a medium white head. The nose is bitter-sweet, earth, light toast, orange, tangerine and marmalade. The taste is earthy, pine, crisp, light toast, grapefruit, mango, tangerine, hay and bitter-sweet aspect with a bitter, citric finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Smooth, fruity and pretty delicious. McNeillR (2315) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JUL 24, 2013
Heated orange, dank haze and steady white bubbled head. Moussaka cereal nose with Capri Sun foil nose. Fairly loose watery initial taste, crisp and inauspicious with faint metallic / blood orange edge. Mouthfeel is superb, dips the palate in a cooling zesty carbonated kiwi and appley crispness building to a frothy passion fruit crunch. The NS is compelling especially for not showing up at kick off. Proper cavalier pineyness, super juicy with an infiltrating bitterness. Would love a swatch of this on keg. rlgk (18850) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - SEP 19, 2013

Very hazy amber beer, good pale cream coloured head. Palate is light and semi dry, slightly soft. Fine minerally carbonation. Nice orange and grapefruit peel hops .Balanced by sweeter lime and floral things. Some pithy bitterness kicks in. Finishes semi dry with more citrus peel bitterness. Nice complex PA.
Less pine resin than some of the other pales, plenty tropical, a middle mouth section of sweet malt biscuit and a lingering astringency. Standard kernel, i.e. very nice.
