Bottle split at JFs, from the brewery, 23/08/13. Hazed golden with a good sized off white head. Nose is orange, grass, toasted malts, light pine, grapefruit. Taste comprises orange pith, grapefruit, hops, toasted malts, light mineral notes, grass. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, dry finish with light hop bitterness. Solid drinkable APA but not a patch on some of the recent APAs that have come out of the Kernel!

lusikka (7793) - Tampere, FINLAND - SEP 11, 2013
330 ml bottle.
Pours a cloudy dark golden colour with a white lacy head. Aroma of grass, strong herbal notes and pineapple. Flavour of strong herbal and grassy hops, slightly harsh grainy malts, pine, pineapple, caramel sweetness and surprisingly strong minerals. Has certain elements which are common on German hops. Medium bodied, harsh and maybe a bit too carbonated mouthfeel with a bitter, herbal, mineral finish. Good, but not as good as their best APAs.
