Bottle from Bridgend Services. Hazy bronze body with a thin white head. Low carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of grass, tangerine and lemongrass. Flavour of peach and melon rind. Thin body with an oily texture. Soft fizz. Simple and clean - much like most recent Kernel Pale Ales I’ve tried. It’s been nearly a year since I’ve tried a stand-out Kernel Pale Ale. jfb (6270) - GERMANY - FEB 21, 2017
(bottle) murky golden colour with a frothy off-white head. aroma of nettles and resin, with lots of caramelized pale malts, mealy apples, lemon juice and herbes de provence. flavour is mostly herbal hops and pale malts, quite resinous, with big notes of thyme, some orange peel and a light-bitter physalis finish. medium-bodied with average carbonation. Bottle, brewery. Looks like every other Kernel pale ale. Lovely smooth beer with a pleasant but not overly sweet malt background supporting lots of hop bitterness with lemon, lime and a certain freshness. Insanely drinkable, really very nice. melush (4144) - SPAIN - JAN 2, 2017

Bottle from cotteridge wines. Hazy golden orange beer with small head. Aroma of tropical fruits and citrus. Taste is citrus, yeast, tropical fruits and hops. Good. McNeillR (2315) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - MAY 1, 2015
Hazy bright and light golden, decent tight tiny ringed head and soft film. Nose is full on sherbertty dusty sweet, pine and pineapple /papaya - very light and simple juiciness. This kicks on into the initial taste, light breath of melon and a clean white grapefruit driven bitterness. Soft, comforting leather of carbonation and softly fading mouthfeel. Finishes lean sweet and sultry pine and pineapple, linger is long fading tinny bitterness. Very SMASHY SMASHY. mcberko (17854) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAY 1, 2015
