Bottle at Krishma’s. Pale amber with white head. Really nice hoppyness. Good gear. PotjeBier (3541) - Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - OCT 28, 2011
Cask @ In De Wildeman. Yellow color, murky. White soapy head. Strong hoppy aroma, resin, grapefruit, a bit acidic. Resiny bitter flavor with a hint of acidity. Dry longlasting bitter finish. Apparently with fresh hops in the cask, because I had to pull some leaves out of my mouth a few times... JoeMcPhee (9459) - Toronto, ON, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 18, 2011
Bottle. Pale golden pour with a tight white head. The aroma is fruity and juicy. Lots of passionfruit, tangerine and a light pineapple character as well. Tropical and fruity with a kiss of pale crackery malt backing it up. Fairly juicy and a little bit fruity. It’s got a light yeasty nose through the middle. There is also a touch of light dustiness on the back. The flavour is unfortunately not quite where the aroma is. It’s a solid brew and an interesting hop. johndoughty (5504) - cheslyn hay, West Midlands, ENGLAND - OCT 15, 2011
Bottle. Yellow and slightly cloudy. Citrus flavours explode in your mouth and dont go away,Medium body and very pleasant. this brewery is setting the pace for the UK and what a pace it is proving to me. beervikingcrew (42) - East Sussex, ENGLAND - OCT 15, 2011
Seriously amazing pale ale. Classic style yet new and innovative. Using the Motueka hop from NZ:
"New variety NZ Hop, this hop was bred by crossing a New Zealand breeding selection (2/3) with Saazer parentage (1/3). Primarily used for flavour and aroma its profile is citrus with lifted lemon and lime followed by a background of tropical fruit. Great in a Bohemian Pilsner."
This hop adds pineapple+lemon with a dry cloud forest finish. The beer a ittle cloudy but that just adds character to a sweet brew. The BV Crew rarely give out 18/20. This one deserves it.

Draught @ Borefts 2011. Golden color with an off-white head. Aroma of pine, grapefrut, lemon-lime, flowers. Medium bodied with low carbonation. Good. MiP (15943) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - OCT 3, 2011
Borefts 2011. A bit of cat piss aroma. Cloudy yellow colour. No head. The flavour has some NS notes, low carbonation. Low alcohol level? Not bad, though. EdKing (2629) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - OCT 3, 2011
Bottle from The kernel Brewery. Pours amber and thick cloudy, with a soft foamy white head that dissipates. Nose is really nice fruit. Mango, papaya and then subtle citrous fruit: orange and bit of grapefruit. Some urine and a bit of that rain on tarmac again. Taste is subtler than aroma. Soft tropical fruit, mild citrous tang and something else like that rain on tarmac thing. Minerally. Nicely balanced and a fine beer. fonefan (50028) - VestJylland, DENMARK - OCT 2, 2011

Cask (gravity) @ Borefts Bier Festival 2011, Brouwerij de Molen, Bodegraven, Netherlands.
Unclear light to medium yellow colour with virtually no head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted - caramel, moderate to heavy hoppy, citrus, lemon, cat piss. Lovely hop aroma ;O) Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat.
Sampled at Borefts Beer Festival @ De Molen, Bodegraven. Pale yellow color, no head. Smell fresh, hoppy. Taste fresh, some bitter but pretty low on the hops in my opinion. Decent beer, but nothing special I’d say.
