0.5 l bottle at the Kernel. Hazy golden orange color. Herbal, slightly vegetal and slightly yeasty aroma. Dryish biscuity flavor with herbal orange, some saltiness and medium to firm bitterness. The something slightly burnt in the taste. BeerCast_Rich (1906) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - AUG 22, 2011
[500ml bottle, courtesy of cgarvieuk] Gold pour, thin white head, but not much. Bitter on the nose – very bitter. Some fruit there as well. Slightly sharp. Quite one dimensional on the taste – the bitterness from the hops really dominates everything else, there’s no sweet component to give that balanced aftertaste. This could be the first Kernel beer I don’t actually like – stop the clocks Benjii (3049) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - AUG 19, 2011
Bottle at Craigs. Pours a golden colour with a thin white head. Aroma of pineapple, passion fruit and light barley. Similar flavours. A little foamy mouth-feel with moderate carbonation and CO2 prickle. Too carbonated for my liking. cgarvieuk (25222) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - AUG 19, 2011
