Scopey (15431) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - OCT 19, 2011
Bottle at the 2nd East Croydon Beer Tasting, thanks to Nate Dawg. It pours hazy golden, with a thin bubbly white film. The nose is pine and juicy tangerine, sherbet and mango. The taste is zesty tangerine, pine, resin and grapefruit pith, with a big bitter-dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Nice.

Leighton (22020) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - OCT 16, 2011
Bottle at the East Croydon Beer Tasting, October 2011, thanks to Nate. Pours cloudy gold with a fine, white film. Fresh hop nose, notes of grass and a bit of pine and orange. Great balance in the flavor, medium sweet, fruits like melon and orange, some light yeast, hints of wood. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Has a somewhat dry finish (damn dry in reflection, actually) with a bit of citrusy zest and light sugar. Very nice.

Hazy gold beer, nice white head. Dry palate, a little crisp. Vibrant fruits. Fresh orange and grapefruit with a zesty squeeze of lemon. Bitterness ramps up in the dry finish. A fresh tasty treat if a tad dry.
