Bottle from The Kernel. Lots of sediment in the bottle. Colour is hazy amber, not cloudy but has some clarity and a huge white foam head out of the bottle. Nose is citrus, grapefruit, orange peel, lemon, pine, some malty muskiness, Taste is citrus pale ale, with grapefruit, lemon fruitiness and also a touch of bitter lime on the finish. A lot os sweetness, some marmalade and peach. Very good pale ale and one of my favourites from The Kernel. madmitch76 (26394) - , Essex, ENGLAND - OCT 16, 2011

Hazy gold beer, nice white head. Dry palate, a little crisp. Vibrant fruits. Fresh orange and grapefruit with a zesty squeeze of lemon. Bitterness ramps up in the dry finish. A fresh tasty treat if a tad dry.
Bottle at the East Croydon Beer Tasting, October 2011, thanks to Nate. Pours cloudy gold with a fine, white film. Fresh hop nose, notes of grass and a bit of pine and orange. Great balance in the flavor, medium sweet, fruits like melon and orange, some light yeast, hints of wood. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Has a somewhat dry finish (damn dry in reflection, actually) with a bit of citrusy zest and light sugar. Very nice. cgarvieuk (26365) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - MAR 26, 2013
