Bottle at home. Pours clear golden yellow, piney, fruity nose, taste is bitter, sweet pine. MadIndian (2743) - Levittown, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 11, 2014
Bottle gift from SJ. This was surprise. I wasn’t expecting much, but it did have nice notes of citrus and even some wood. Body was a tad thin for me, but I liked it. JorgeLee (2234) - Greater London, ENGLAND - JUL 13, 2013
Bottle from the Kernel. Mid golden colour, thick white head, slightly orange cloudy hue with yeast added. Lightly floral hop aroma, appetising. Very drinkable balanced pale ale. Flavours not overly aggressive, like an English pale ale with some floral spicy fruity New World hops in there. Wasn’t the most impactful Kernel beer I’ve had, but very drinkable. jmgreenuk (9978) - Kuala Lumpur, MALAYSIA - MAY 16, 2013
Bottle from Cotteridge Wines, Birmingham. Poured a cloudy light amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is floral but weak. The flavour is medium bitter, grassy, hoppy and a little dry on the palate. A super pale ale. deanso (10101) - Chiang Mai, THAILAND - MAY 16, 2013

50 cl bottle, Sheffield, UK via St. Pancras Station. Hazy gold, thin head. Floral aroma, some passion fruit and mild resin. Smooth, apricot flavours, finish is more fruit and yeast. gunnar (9695) - Sandnes, NORWAY - MAR 23, 2013
Bottle from a trade with madmitch76. Pours clear golden with a solid creamy white head. Aroma of floral and fruity hops. Thin palate, with a weak malty base, outshined by the dry and light bitter hops, weak astringent in the finish, dry mouthfeel, good one.

Feb 2013 – coldish bottle. 5.6%, mainly simcoe with motueka, topaz and centennial. My first impression is that this is very different to any other kernel beer I’ve had so far. Much more malty, which brings a sweetness to it and offsets the hops so that they are not so in your face. It’s like a more hoppy version of a traditional British IPA. I’m not sure that I like it that much though – unfortunately it falls somewhere between the two IPA styles without delivering the best of either. I think that there is potential there, but this doesn’t deliver. jd543 (428) - SCOTLAND - MAR 16, 2013
Great wee pale ale. Good hoppy aroma. Lively fizz, goes down very easily. Refreshing light beer. DruncanVeasey (8283) - Nr NUNEATON, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - MAR 11, 2013

Punkish with lean zesty floral hops; lime, Kaffir and curry leaf impressions; dragonfruit, paper-thin brittle lovely malt. Drying G+T finish.
