Taste grapefruit,pineapple ,blood orange,papaya ,pine & a hint of caramel . Light to medium bodied ,perfectly carbonated & refreshing the finish is dry with some bitterness & more grapefruit ,orange ,pineapple ,papaya with some biscuity malt . Keg at craft beer co clerkenwell. A translucent golden yellow coloured pour with a steadfast uniform white frothy head. Aroma is slightly subdued clean white bready notes, tropical fruit hop notes of melon, lychee and tangerine. Flavour is composed of a clean bready grainy malts base, grassy citrus, tangerine and nice tropical notes of mango and Mellon. Firm clean hop bitterness. Utterly balanced and crushable. Palate is soft and slightly grainy, highish carbonation and a semi dry close. Very enjoyable.

Nov 2015 - 330ml bottle at home in Richmond as ’The Kernel Pale Ale Simcoe Amarillo’, 5.6%, bottled Sep 2015. Very dark orange, hazy, still, small foamy white head. Aroma is piney, floral, mint, light sugars. Body is medium, smooth, soft carbonation. Taste is kiwi, grape juice, some parma violet, green Starburst sweets, soft finish. Light unclear medium orange yellow color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, moderate to heavy hoppy, citrus, grass, dusty hops. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, orange, tropical fruit, peach. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

500ml. Orange hazy with a slim white lid. Nose of husk, dried flowers, OJ, grapefruit, mandarin, strawberry and mint leaf. Punchy soapy floral flavour with mint, lime zest, bitter tonic and husk, spearmint and dried flowers. Slightly sub-standard Kernel PA: just very good.
